Was showing highlights from last nights game. Said Bray looked really good, CP is the kind of overall athlete TN hadn't had in a long time and Desmond said Hunter played like he never even got hurt and it was amazing watching what that kid did. Fowler started to hint if NCSU was overrated and Kirk said we could play with anybody and that team last night looks totally different than the last two years. I'm sure there are bigger games week 3 but would love to have gameday for the Florida game.

Well, it wouldn't be the first time Fowler stuck his foot in his mouth. He is the biggest ******* ESPN has on their network. I don't believe he likes himself much less anyone else.

The team is different. This is the first time in 3 years they have resembled an quality SEC team-the kind that plays against a supposed evenly-matched non-conference opponent and just beats them into submission. Does anyone think some of those drops that NC State had weren't caused by the licks Brewer, Johnson, and Randolph were handing out?

And they played nowhere near a perfect game on either side-especially offense. A lot of miscues, gave away at least 2 tds, if not 3 or 4 because of mistakes in the redzone, goal-line, and a dropped deep pass. They played perfectly against UC last year and came away with what seemed to be a statement win. They played with their B game on offense last night, and still whopped a team that was 8-5 and returned 80% of their starters. Very encouraging.

Something else here to consider here with all of this TN may be "back" talk. I am one who beleives today's game is a refelction of progress since Dooley arrived. Instant results to our liking? No, but the Vol failthful are a hard bucnh to please.

Consider last year: yes we got thumped a few times but mostly in second half play where depth is an issue and maturity a problem.

But consider this: in the East, we lost to SC by 11, FL by 10, and GA by 8. That's a 9.7 average. I am confident this team can compete in the East this year in a big way.

How does Corso keep his job on gameday? He just called Lane Kiffin, Lan Kiffin about 3 times in a couple of minutes. So glad they took him off the NCAA football games.

I'm thinking Neyland will be as electric as it's been in years for the Florida game in 2 weeks. I can see UT being 4-0 heading to Georgia in week 5. That'll be a big time match-up and possible Gameday site.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't Justin Worleys dad the one who told Hinshaw to take a look at Patterson? Thank you pappa Worley!!
