True, and they are nice areas where you can fit plenty of people that provides a nice back drop for the national viewing stage. No point to not use them IMO
ESPN HATES US!!!!
I would argue that the only reason they are coming to Knoxville is to give Florida a better chance to win. We have never beaten them when the Gameday crew is on campus and have only won two times total when the crew has been in Knoxville...both against unranked teams.
Thanks ESPN
So if I live about 30 minutes away from UT what time would be a good time to get there so that I could actually be part of the gameday crowd? I don't wa ba show up to late or anything.
I can't wait for this game! We are goin to get it done! GBO!!!! VFL!!!!!
Clearly, I've been to everyone that's been to Knoxville with the exception of 99 ND, and a few at other places. Thank you for telling me what I have and haven't done.
a) That's not clear because you failed to notice that there is always an extra police presence during College Gameday.
b) Don't get your panties ruffled when I copied your post style exactly.
Carry on. Go Vols.
A) No panties ruffled over here, only jorts. It is Florida week afterall.
B) Clearly I was referring to the fact that the cops don't have anymore presence on Fraternity Row than any other places on campus on gameday. With that being said, there's alcohol everywhere on gameday so there being extra police over there doesn't matter since there will be drinking everywhere they go. Plus the police presence is in security mode, not "let's go give a citation to everyone who we can nail for drinking" mode.
C) Despite differences, Go Vols.
Can't say Gators, without sayin' Gay.
I don't just mean on regular gameday. I mean at the College Gameday set, which there are more police. A lot of them are there to make sure students don't act like idiots on tv, but there are increased numbers.
So, I'm not saying that they'd cite people for drinking. I was saying that plopping it in the middle of the least legal section of campus would probably not be the best idea.
Any idea where we can park for gameday? 6am to get close to the front is what you think? I dont have tickets but am going to come down and participate in the gameday. Then roll to the house and cheer the Vols on!
