Surprise surprise. College Gameday is bashing UT fans saying social media vigilantes messed up a successful and quiet coaching search to hire Greg Schiano.

Talking about it now.

They are saying Fulmer may have undermined search but Fulmer denies.

Ridiculous drama
Clownshow
Brutal
Unprecedented
Gave fans a voice
Other schools should use this as an example of what could come
Peyton involved and brilliant minds thought Shiano would have been great
Tennessee caved

Stability in T.N. more with Fulmer now

Coaches turning down UT because of how they handled all of this

Wasn't to bad the need to get Schiano's knob though acting like he was the next Nick Saban .

Kirk is the same guy that said we should've kicked Gaulden off the team for flipping the bird and then still supports Mayfield for Heisman after he did the crotch grab at an opposing team.

I don't care what any of those clowns think anymore.

It was a wild ride and fans DID have a voice. FANS pay the bills, not talking heads. FANS sit in seats and yell. FANS buy shirts and hats.

This hire was going to be a bad one for football reasons and a bad one for PR reasons.

We could have hired almost ANY other coach and this wouldn't have happened.

The OSU connection is where the love fest comes from.

Go VOLS!

They didn’t say anything that is not true and they concluded with saying Fulmer was the right man to get things straightened out.

Brian Kelley endorses Lyle, how’d that work out?

Tired of Herbie saying well so and so endorsed Schiano so he’s qualified.

I’ve gotten a lot of crap from people about all this but I give ZERO ****s, I’m actually proud we stood up and had a voice.

I told my Michigan buddy, we’ve been one of the highest producing CFB teams in terms of revenue in one of our worst stretches in program history, we deserve better. Without the fans they don’t fill that 100k stadium.

Hope Urban leaves in 1-2 years and they promote Schiano to HC. Ol Herbstreit would start singing a different tune

They are still going on about the Schiano thing. That was last years news at this point. If they want to report the real news instead of make news they will talk about why the fans were so upset about who currie was going for after 9 years of mediocrity

There is nothing I would like more than for us to have a home run hire, be ranked in the top 10, have college game day come to Knoxville, and then NOT ONE PERSON SHOW UP. That program has used our fan base as a punchline one too many times. We are one of the few fanbases that always have a sign no matter where game day is.

Don’t forget Sexton is their agent as well as Schianos and Kirk loves Ohio State

I really think he’s just angry because Mullen turned him down earlier in the show - that was a sick lovefest when Mullen was on set.

Hahaha at "brilliant minds thought"... they seriously are going down the road that a coach with a pitiful record in the big East would have been a home run? Peyton signed off because he's always going to sign off. Give me a break. None of those dudes would accept a Schiano level of suck hire at their schools.

herbstreit, the man who has affairs and uses urban meyer to back up his arguments on Schiano. Kirk cant really question anybodys moral stance or beliefs.

how would rece davis react if Bama hired Schiano after Saban leaves?
