College football roundtable: Best fight song

I'm a "little" bias, but it's not even close!
Rocky Top rules!

The best of the rest, I think, are:
A&M
LSU
Auburn
Georgia
South Carolina

These are the worst
Vandy
Kentucky
Arkansas

Does Missouri have one? 😂

Iconic in its own right. Been around before the 60's too.

You mean the Alma Mater?

(Here's to Old Tennessee)
Official Tennessee Fight Song

Here's to old Tennessee
Never we'll sever
We pledge our loyalty
Forever and ever
Backing our football team
Faltering never
Cheer and fight with all of your might
For Tennessee.

Many fans do not know that the official title of our fight song is, Here's to Old Tennessee. I mis-spelled originally.

Down the Field = Alma Mater.
Here's to Old Tennessee = fight song.

Traditional Song Lyrics
Alma Mater

On a Hallowed hill in Tennessee
Like Beacon shining bright
The stately walls of old UT
Rise glorious to the sight.

So here's to you old Tennessee,
Our Alma Mater true
We pledge in love and harmony
Our loyalty to you.

So here's to you old Tennessee,
Our Alma Mater true
We pledge in love and harmony
Our loyalty to you.

What torches kindled at that flame
Have passed from hand to hand
What hearts cemented in that name
Bind land to stranger land.

O, ever as we strive to rise
On life's unresting stream
Dear Alma Mater, may our eyes
Be lifted to that gleam.

The link I provided says otherwise

Actually the link you provided is the one I copied.
The reason it is shown with a break is because the section played when we were....
NM. I know why 74 said what he said and he is not wrong.
If you are unaware of why it's separated, it really doesn't matter.
Everyone knows Rocky Top now and it's considered #1.
A debate of the original is irrelevant even for the off season and for you.

Honestly, doesn't matter to me. Oh and sorry about the "and you" I realize it reads wrong but not what I meant. I meant not worth debating from me or you.
