Did anybody watch college football live yesterday? If so, what did they say about Tennessee?

Nothing interesting. Pretty much talked about how our defense is going to be good next year and how Lane Kiffin is a screw up. You know, the usual.

Pretty much everything we have heard already. If lane wins then fans in Knoxville will find something they like ab him and his fiery attitude and stick by him. If he looses he has probably already done enough to crucify himself. Our defense will be great again but still it will be hard to beat last years defense that finished the season as the third best D in the nation. The last thing they said is that we are in a rebuilding phase, which is something I hate to keep hearing esp by people who consider themselves professional analysts or whatever. We had a top 3 class in 2007 that still hasnt seen many of the great playmakers we signed on the field. To sum up, CFL yesterday and their 5 min excerpt ab UT football was complete a waste of time IMO as a viewer. However, publicity is always a good thing. :hi:

Its all good bro, not too many UT fans in these parts although I belive the Duffy's on PGA and US-1 is the official UT bar, but Ive only been here for 4 Months so I havent completely figured out my bearings... Any suggestions?

that's the place on game days and they get an upper room. Other than that I don't have any suggestions...Yard house in downtown at the gardens is a good place with well over a hundred taps.

Yea, I live in Evergreene, right next to Yard House. My opinion of that is their beers are all overpriced and the atmosphere is less than stellar. Lots of yuppies and divorced women, not my style. I guess Im also spoiled bc Im from ATL, home of Taco Mac. You think Yard House has a lot of beer selection, it pales in comparison to the Mac... Best wings in ATL too.

I love the rebuilding comments, they should've been a joke last year. But with no QB and an offensive system built for elementary school football, they ended up looking fairly intelligent. I hope they continue saying we are "rebuilding". Despite how ridiculous these comments are (did they call AL a rebuilding team when Saban got there or even after going 6-6 his first season?...hmm), it will be easier to prove them wrong. Just think of the attention and praise our "rebuilding" team would get next year if we went 8-4 or 9-3. They are really setting us up nicely by saying that. Shows just how incompetent they are, but should benefit us if we have a nice year.

I think they did say Saban is rebuilding and I think we are rebuilding. I dont know if you know this but the only real talent that has been shown is Eric Berry. We need recruits because the talent level is down. You know what recruiting guys to raise the talent level is called? Rebuilding.
