College football-I'm done

Like I said, I get it. Maybe I should do the more admirable thing and keep watching as much as possible. Stick with em even though I suspect it's gonna be disappointing.

Or maybe you should go about your life instead of being overly dramatic about it on the internet. You want to stop watching, then stop. What does talking about it on an internet forum accomplish.

Please Stop!

At least long enough to catch my breath. I'm dying over here.

I see i guess if you're not playing for the NC its not worth watching ? Right now the pretty much all the SEC E is bad. The best hope was just to win the east and get the privilege of losing to bama. I get it. It sucks to lose to a bad team but it happens. if you stop watching your favorite team because of a bad loss. Your football seasons will be short.

College football is my favorite time of year. I'm working Saturdays now, but I'll be recording our game as well as 2- 3 more every week to watch on Sunday.

Not much at all. The only thing that I accomplish is within my family and at my work. Any football talk I've ever been involved with has never really accomplished anything other than killing boredom/passing the time.

I dont wont to sound like a jerk but I just dont understand why people come rant about being done and not watching not caring etc. If thats the case, just dont watch or dont care. Crying in the internet seems overly dramatic and childish, jmo

And that's why I probably shouldn't have posted anything. People don't understand. There are things other people say that i don't understand.

I wanted to vent. Like the poster above said. It's healthier to smoke than watch UT football. I see the potential of this team, and injuries and lack of discipline have derailed what could have been A SEC title team. It's the combination of bad luck and just bad football and it's driving me crazy. This season of UT football continually puts me in a bad mood, so it's smart for me to get away.

Or maybe so much of your life shouldnt revolve around college kids playing a game. Because that is all it is. Ive been a vols fan my whole life. When I was stationed in north and south carolina I would drive to games every weekend. I now live in Alabama, surrounded by tide fans. People dont talk trash to me, because they know it doesnt bother me. Have perspective in life, its college kids playing a game, thats all.

Folks, I'm pretty much done with college football this year. If UT has nothing to play for I have no reason to watch college football.

Thank the good Lord for the NFL and my Broncos. Hopefully they will stay healthy and play sound ( minimal penalties and turnovers and bone headed plays such as snaps 10 yards over qb's head, and rb's knocking ball out of QB's hands ) football.

Hopefully our team will grow and get better for next year so we can play for an SEC title.

Yeah, I feel your pain

No one owes you championship football. Tennessee has more border states (7) than any other. Drive across the border to any one and misguided people will be either "thanking the good Lord" or not for their team.

If you only support championship teams, that's not sportsmanship, maybe the good Lord is trying to teach you a lesson, eh? I hope you're not in a position to influence kids.
