Bummed that we only have the FBS and FCS National Championship Games left this season and the bowls have ended? Well you're in luck! We still have the annual college football all-star games to look forward to, and this year we have the return of one that bowed out over a decade ago. Here is the schedule and how to watch:

Tropical Bowl - 1/12/2020 - 10:00 AM EST - DeLand, FL (Online at FloFootball.com) - this is the newest and most obscure one. It's played pretty early on Sunday at Stetson University and can only be watched online, and FloFootball.com is a subscription site. This one usually has the lesser known college players and most seem to come from non-P5 conferences and lower, though there are some SEC players this year. Maybe if it gets big enough CBS Sports Network will pick it up someday.

East-West Shrine Bowl - 1/18/2020 - 3:00 PM EST - St. Petersburg, FL (NFL Network) - the longest running all-star game, played at Tropicana Field. The game officially changed its name this year, as it used to be known as the "East-West Shrine Game". The game also is known for its long affliation with benefitting the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

NFLPA Collegiate Bowl - 1/18/2020 - 7:00 PM EST - Pasadena, CA (NFL Network) - The second newest all-star game after the Tropical Bowl, this one is played at The Rose Bowl and now is more direct competition to the East-West Shrine Bowl since they play at almost the exact same time.

Senior Bowl - 1/25/2020 - 2:30 PM EST - Mobile, AL (NFL Network) - This all-star game has risen to be the premier all-star game of the postseason, and most players want to play in this one. It is played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, now former home of South Alabama and home to the world famous Lending Tree Bowl. If you're going to only watch one of these, this would be the one.

Hula Bowl - 1/26/2020 - 10:30 PM EST - Honolulu, HI (CBS Sports Network) - The first Hula Bowl since 2008, played at Aloha Stadium, home of the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, the Hawaii Bowl, and sometimes the NFL's Pro Bowl. It will officially be the last game of the 2019 College Football season. The bad news: it doesn't start until 10:30 EST.

The National Team beat the American Team 35-7 in the much anticpiated Tropical Bowl, viewed by hundreds.

Last night here in Tampa at the airport I noticed a bunch of people in those Shriner hats meeting certain people coming off their flights, made it feel like this east-west shrine bowl is a big deal.

I miss the Blue-Gray Game that was played on Christmas Day for decades on CBS;) I used to watch it every year:(

Like the East-West Shrine Bowl. Great cause as well. Anything to help Shriners Hospital for Children.

The charity side is still a pretty big deal. The game, not so much, at least from fan interest. Scout interest it might still be. It used to be a pretty popular, well attended game back when it was played in Stanford. But then again that was before the days of every college game on HD and 40 something bowl games, so maybe it was more well attended because chances to see live football games was lower. That and college FB all-star games used to be a much bigger deal.

I couldn't imagine a game taking place today where the best college players played the Super Bowl champion.

So I updated the original message, apparently the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl moved from FS1 to the NFL Network this year, and since the NFLN also broadcasts the East-West Shrine Bowl, the NFLPA CB kicks off now at 7:00 PM EST, moved up from the old kickoff time of 4:00 PM EST.

Side note, the NFLPA CB website is awful.

In the Senior Bowl today, the North will be coaching by Matt Patricia (Detroit Lions) and the South will be coached by Zac Taylor (Cincinnati Bengals). So look for the South to win.

Speaking of the websites for these games, the Hula Bowl website is also terrible. If you go to the Rosters section of the site it says to check back for updates on who is playing the game; well the game is tomorrow, so.....seems like you'd have those rosters set by now. I can buy 1 or 2 last minute changes but come on.

Saw that Quinten Dormady is playing but don’t think any current Vols are on the roster.

Thought this was cool...
