Anyone betting the over better hope Tennessee puts at least 39 or 40 up
Posted via VolNation Mobile

I agree. I think that this UCLA team will have trouble scoring many points against our punishing defense.
Go VOLS!

Mark it down: Monte Kiffin's D will shut down the ucla offense. They will not know what's coming the whole game. UT 33 UCLA 10

He also mentioned how much a college quarterback (especially a redshirt freshman) and their team can be easily rattled on the road. The home crowd in college can have a major influence in the outcome of the game (versus little influence in the NFL).

We must bring the NOISE in Neyland tomorrow!!! :rock2:

Exactly. Kiffin has asked for that twice now. This should be a very very very very loud game.

Man...the one day I don't listen to him!
I was starting to question the guy's man-card after he preached on and on yesterday about how everyone should go see Jennifer Anniston's new chick flick movie.

He is nuts about Anniston.

He keeps it so real. I love hearing him point out how over hyped ND and Ohio St. and its all the truth, he backs it all up with the facts. He is talking about how ND has beat 2 middle of the road WAC teams and their fans think they are going to win it all.

3 points? It'll be 3 points before the Anthem is over.

When I first read that, I thought I read "Antietam". Which is ironically an appropriate September 1862 reference to how I think this game will go. A bloody one day battle ending in victory for the home team, UCLA will retreat the following morning.

I listen to him everyday, he is the most honest man on radio like him or not. Although he also picked us last year to win this game based on how well our line played in 07. So lets hope for the best.

That was a good pick last year. No one projected that we'd fumble the ball away going into their end zone (although there was much precedence for such an event) and get a punt blocked for a TD and mysteriously stop running the ball when we'd been averaging over 6 yards/carry and UCLA's front 7 were clearly gassed and no one projected that Crompton wouldn't be able to hit the broad side of a See Rock City barn sign.

No, no one projected all of that happening all at once but I don't see that happening again so I'd say even 10 points is a pretty attractive spread.

Sounds like Cowherd is changing his tune a little. I saw where he had made a 6-6 preseason prediction for UT earlier this summer.

Just checked and the line in Vegas is Tenn -10. I think we overwhelm them with atmosphere and Defense. I also think CLK's offense will score plenty. Vols by 28-35. Berry will break NCAA record for return yards in this one as well!

7 points in a nuetral place is about right. But only 3 more for being at home? It is bogus.

I will be shocked if a freshman QB has success against monte Kiffin's Defense.Their Back up QB is a freshman also. And three of their O-linemen are making their first start on the road.
