Colin Cowherd has Tennessee making the 4 team Playoff

If we make it to the dance, and get (and beat) Clemson in the first round, I don't care which team we play for the Championship. There are pros to playing either Oklahoma or Michigan.

So do we like Cowherd now?

Like the guy's personality or not...he is right more than he is wrong. He was on the air talking about what a joke Dooley was as a coach even back when he first started at TN and how he didn't know what he was doing.

Cowherd seems to like UT football in general. He was calling Neyland a top 5 atmosphere even while we were down. I agree with a lot that he says but he does take a long time to make his points.

In the final 4, UT will match up better with Ohio State than Clemson due to the speed issue.

I will listen to cowherd over ANYTHING on espn and I have for a while. He has called U.T. since Butch came in. He has A TON of industry connections from coaches to vegas and he is usually a few years before everyone else.

He's predicted we'd beat Bama each of the last 2 seasons....he's 0-2 there. So what does he do, just keep picking the same thing until the law of averages kicks in and he's finally right?

Just not a fan. Loathe ESPN and their social experiment programming, but Cowherd has virtually disappeared from relevance since leaving those idiots. My guess is Cowherd keeps picking Tennessee to do good things to try and tap into our and other huge fanbases, especially on social media, to try and boost his sagging ratings.

You guys are like the Joker and Batman of VolNation.

Ha! They sort of are. They've displaced SJT and Butchna in that regard.

My money is on KB being Batman. I like having them both in the community, but KB's been a loyal Vols fan all his life, so he's the good guy. :)

And you believe he was the only soothsayer taking that leap of faith?

I think we can stop being surprised at all these rankings having Vols so high. What aspect of the team is weak? I'd say none.

Returning a ton of starters
Great QB (and backup)
Depth just about anywhere
Great leadership
Great assistant coaches
Hungry players, fans, coaches.
... the list goes on

We're favored to win 11 of 12, with the 12th being almost a toss-up; the lines aren't set by one person or a committee.

Are we... and this is an honest question... calling Dobbs great? He is not very accurate, though our receivers didn't help with that last year; he can run, but the passing worries me.

Eh, I like the list except for Michigan. Call me crazy, but I don't see them in the top 10 come bowl season.
