Kick off.... Put their O on the field in a strange environment with 75% Big Orange in the stands. Let them work their jitters out on the field rather than on the sideline.

I would ask NC State what they would prefer. Either way, it's going to be a long night.

My choice would be to receive, put DY and CP back there to catch it and just let them take it to the house. Why waste time before the beating starts?

To everyone saying kick you know this gives the ball to NCSt to open both halves right?
If you do not select to recieve in the first hLf you generally select defer this give you the option in the 2nd half to kick or recieve.

This thread is great to see the generally low football IQ that is on this site.

What?

And speaking of low IQ's, learn how to use a comma.

Also, learn how to spell the word "receive". "i" before "e" except after "c".

People saying "kick" are probably referring to the fact that if we defer we will be kicking. Don't be so smug, k? :good!:

Neither, pick an endzone to defend. :)

Nah, I would kick. The defense will be fired up which is what you want and it would give Bray & Co a chance to calm down a bit.

Take the kickoff, score then and let them play catch up the rest of the game.

I would kick off first during the first game. Chances are the first offense on the field is going to be extremely nervous. Force their offense to do something or give us great field position.
