If TN wins the coin toss does CDD take the ball given TN's passing attack or does he kick it to UF given the crowd noise will be crazy to start the game?

But if TN takes the ball, it could quickly dampen the crowd early if it marches down the field for a quick TD?

Kick it....should you get a stop and possible poor to only decent punt then you can have the ball in good field position with our offense.

If they score...not really upset because our offense can score on them and you can make stuff up with the first possession of the second half....however the crowd would really be in to it then.

I say receive and introduce the gators early to our secret weapon Devrin Young as he houses the opening KO!

I always say kick it first because the players are hyped up, mad and pumped with nervous energy and all that is better channeled on D

I would kick it, but receiving shows confidence.

IMO you never want the ball first in a juiced up environment like Saturday's. Defense comes out sky-high. Offense is too which is why they false start.

Exactly. In that environment, you want to minimize the potential for instant momentum. Defenses can't fumble a snap or fumble at all. Even giving up a touchdown on the opening drive is not such a big deal. By that time, the Offense has time to adjust to the crowd and get the butterflies out of their stomach.

Kick it...let your offense hear the crowd noise and get adjusted to it early on.
Also, gives your defense confidence in showing that you are not afriad of the opponent.

I have seen a score before the half, then getting the ball back to score again win many a football game..

Double digit underdog, on the road, with a suspect defense . . . Take the ball and pray for points.
