That is good news. He has had the rep of a monster from day one. Now if we could only cure him of his vegetarian ways.

From the article it sounds like he has too much fire to keep him on the pine.

this is great to hear. i think the long hair is more fitting at DT than O-line

...or that that the O-line has so much depth that he has a better shot at D. Or that he has more potential at DT than C. Look at the glass half full sometime rex.

do you mean the O-Line that produced the worst rushing year in Tennessee history and lost it's best player?

You're so pessimistic. Ever think the coaches might think he has a better chance on D? Just because someone switches positions doesn't mean we are in trouble.

Or that he was burried behind a Freshman All American last year and would struggle to see the field on O. The kind of motor he has could fit in very well at DT.

or that DT is the thinnest position on the team????

I think you are right with this (that DT is thin)... but we have a rotation of 5 guys with some experience, and 2 freshman behind them, so I don't think its a move to addres depth. I agree with other posters that it probably just feels like it could be a better fit long term.

He most likely won't play this year, regardless of postion.
