What happened with all the surprises on Signing day. All these coaches tweets that this was going to be a big day come signing day? I guess the suprises are that those days are gone.

We're on the wrong end of the surprises. That's where they went.

They were just trying to get some hype going. Would've said the same thing had it we had a 50th ranked recruiting class

Hey, at the end of the day, they're still kids. You can feel good about it, and they can tell you whatever, but they still make their own decisions.

BS then keep your damn mouth shut until you deliver something, anything at this point. Worst new coach recruiting job in the SEC.

Im happy about Dobbs. Bell turning his back on TENNESSEE pisses me off tho. He's going to go up there and wish he were back down south, we he would of been treated like a king. Listening to fools...

This is the most negative fan base, these guys had 8 weeks, I love there work ethic and fire. They will get this turned around. And I think weve added some great pieces this year. Im sure they wouldve liked to added a Bell or Lawson too, but it starts in the weightroom, then the practice field. Coach'm up, " desire beats talent, when talent doesnt have deisre" this team will have the desire!

Is what it is. We signed some pretty good guys for an overall decent class. This isn't the 90's guys. After the last 3 years and the uncertainty of this coaching staff's future success, this is to be expected. This staff is going to have to bust their tails and pull some Remember the Titans $hit and get the new and current players to buy in. They're going to have to win and prove to next year's recruiting class that UT isn't on a downard spiral but rather a rise to the top.

This is exactly right.

Sorry but I don't care how long he's been here. A bad class is a bad class. I'm not BLAMING CBJ for the class we got, but the fact that CBJ has only been here a short time doesn't suddenly make it a good class.

Yea because the Buckeye fans traditionally treat all their highly rated recruits like such trash.

Lots of dumb on the VN this morning which was sadly expected...

You're an absolute idiot. Recruiting takes an entire year. Coaches spend the entire year or MORE recruiting these kids. All of a sudden the guy that was recruiting you is gone but the other coaches are still going after your recruits. Butch comes in and keeps almost all of them and then flips some. You are high if you can't respect what was done today.

No you're the idiot for not understanding my post. As I said, I'M NOT BLAMING CBJ for this class. I understand he's only been here 2 months. I understand he's had to repair a lot of damage left by Dooley. I get all that. Having said that, that does not change the fact that this signing class is disappointing. Those who say it's not is just choosing to be delusional. I refuse to say "hey this is a good class" just because CBJ has only had 2 months to put it together. A bad class is a bad class, regardless of the circumstances!

I missed the NOT blaming part. I will say this. It could have been much worse. And honestly I think we had a better shot at Vonn Bell with Butch than Dooley. The man is a natural salesman. He will rake in some big recruits to knoxville in the future. Count on it
