This is bul #^*! Our staff is weak on offense no imagination and if this best they can come with then to hell with it. Play second string QB and just punt on 3rd down

It's not very brave or honorable, but if we lose dobbs in this game that we had a low probability of sucess then you might as well kiss the sec championship goodbye. Many of you will be angry for the next couple of weeks, but will be over it soon when we start licking the remainder of our competition.

Yep. This game was a minimize losses game. They weren't coming into this to give bama a fight and end up losing anyway. They just want our team to get healthy and minimize injury.

I dont know if thats true, but 10-2 is a realistic goal and had a chance to be 11-1. Any team would struggle with all these injuries. Coaching staff has turned this program completely around and people are still complaining.

Starters at every level are injured on d. Oline is all back ups and we are playing the number one team.

Calm down people.

All i can say is arkansas. Because if uf doesnt lose to them our chances to atlanta are very slim. And these high profile recruits are now looking at bama not ut

I believe they have done this on purpose. They don't want anymore key injuries. Meaning they don't want dobbs to get hurt. The played vanilla today, but that was part of the game plan. Coaches have their eyes on the conference championship game.

Then the whole staff should be fired today.

And we haven't won the east

Man, Vols fans have the emotional mindset of a 4 year old. Playing the number one team with nearly all 2nd string players and our coaching staff is awful.

A week ago the could have written their own contracts.

Welcome back to reality.

Please. That's absurd.

The true is, Alabama is MUCH, MUCH more talented. Tennessee had to have everything go right to have a chance, and it didn't.

The coaching argument is just a mindless rant. It's the same offense that gained all those yards last week.

I wouldn't have through this it, but they ran it up the middle on the first play of about every single drive this game. A monkey randomly pointing at a card with all our plays on it could call a better game. I see the run up the middle on first down every possession, that says to me that the coaches aren't invested in the game. Low risk of major injury on those plays. The coaches are calling for the rest of the season, not just this game.

This offensive line is killing this team Â… again! The total lack of blocking leaves Josh no time to complete the called play. Josh is always having to improvise which severely limits what plays we can call/execute.

Why after four years of recruiting and coaching these players we are still far below average? Injuries, of course have hurt this team but why donÂ’t we have capable backup players to step in and play at an SEC caliber level? FOUR YEARS should have given us the opportunity to establish a quality offensive line with DEPTH.

The answer must be Coach Mahoney. Not only does he bear the sole responsibility for coaching these players but he also has the responsibility for identifying the players we recruit. Something’s wrong. Either he can’t coach ‘em up or he can’t identify top quality recruits OR BOTH.

Four years is long enough to demonstrate whether you can do the job. He canÂ’t and he needs to be replaced. At least thatÂ’s the opinion of the armchair head coach.

I think Butch needs to look hard at the S&C program. We are getting pushed around on both sides of the LOS and this isn't the first game it has happened. We simply are not physical enough up font. That has to change.

You mean to tell me that you should fire an entire staff when they beat Georgia and Florida in the same season and put the team in a position to go to the sec championship? Genius.

Butch Jones is a good coach, Saban is just on another level.........I think you have to build your program and hope the Saban machine runs out in a few years. Every program in the SEC could fire their coaching staffs and anyone short of Urban Meyer and they'd be replacing them in 4 years. Continue to build your program under Jones, you'll get there soon.

This staff coaches scared and its discraceful. Being scared only feeds to bamas strenghts. I can take getting beat but not at expense of being scared. Our offense play calling and execution is offensive. And defense well u give them 80 chances a game they will make u pay. This loss is straiggt kn coaches. I dont want to hear about players out cause that has nothing to do with the offense

Have you seen our offensive line? Lot of hurt guys there too. Let's just admit it guys, they've had the last 6 #1 recruiting classes, they have a lot better players, they have better coaches. They are Alabama--there is absolutely nothing for that state other than Alabama football and they live on that. Much of their state resources go into it. It is basically their identity. The worm may turn, but it will be tough. Only chance is if they get caught cheating again, and with the money involved these days, that's not likely.

Debord needs to go back to cleaning pools, because he is a terrible OC always has been, always will be. There was a reason no other team wanted his services. But butch wanting do his old employer a solid.

& Don bologna Maloney needs to be gone at the end of the season. O-Line has shown little if any improvement all season.

Even the announcers are calling our oc out. Saying bama is just jumping the routes due to no fear of deep ball

Thats because everyone knows there is no threat of a long ball when a second string oline is playing against the number 1 dline. Apparently only people on Volnation dont understand this.

Excuse me, nearly all 2nd string? What are you talking about? Oh and guess what Bama's second string would destroy the best Oline we could throw out there because Mahoney is garbage. Also I thought Butch has done outstanding recruiting so why would our 2nd string be so bad as to be completely humiliated at home?

These 3-4* classes are going to get us killed against Bama, Uga, UF, T am, LSU 4-5* recruits. Butch got lucky with 1 class and after this year most of those players will be gone, because besides legacies, Butch has struggled to get anything but 3* and low 4* recruits.

Injuries aside.....allowing over 500 yds every game is just embarrassing. I dont care who's playing. Kept talking about depth before the season began and yet even though our backups are playing, our defense allows so many yards and points that its laughable. Mahoney shouldnt be coaching in the SEC AT ALL IMO.
All I know is that this team just got smoked by a freshman QB like our defense is a highschool JV team.
They will be ok after the byweek, its obvious that the guys are worn out, but they absolutely quit this game.
