Who is our best recruiter? Where is our biggest need in recruiting next year? Who has coached d-line on our staff before? Where did Sirmon play in the NFL? Easy to figure the out come of this one. Sirmon will be our line backers coach and Thompson will be our d-line coach. No problems with that if you ask me. Having team coheasion is not only important for the players. It is just as important for the coaches. I think this will end up making us better. Go vols

Smith leaving and landing with the Titans isn't far fetched. They need a DL coach and a want to trade Young which might bring Haynesworth back to Tennessee to be with a line coach he respects along with a number of other players on the team that have the same respect for him.

Per UT Sports, FredWhite has excellent e-cred. Chuck out, Sirmon in as LB coach, LT slides to the D-Line.

Chuck Smith and the Vols have, indeed, parted ways. Peter Sirmon will be LBs coach, Lance Thompson moves to DL. Story up shortly.

Way to go COACH DOOLEY! Weedin out the weeek links,, So much for it being recruits! Weak link is in the coaching staff! Wilcox WILL do what is needed for our D! Doooley knows whats we need! Smith was holding Wilcox back, we WILL be fine! I trust DOOLEY ONLY!!!!!!!!!! :gun: :gun: :gun:
