I’m told #Tennessee is pursuing #okstate’s Mike Gundy as GoPokes has reported. Sources also tells me the #Vols have reached out to #Purdue’s Jeff Brohm & #NCState’s Dave Doeren in their coaching search.

Sources told me Mike Gundy notified Oklahoma State officials, as required by his contract, of his intention to speak with Tennessee about Vols’ job. That meeting scheduled today in Dallas.

247Sports is reporting Jeremy Pruitt was going to the take the Mississippi State job but has delayed his commitment after a call from Tennessee. I will keep looking for other sources. Pruitt would not be bad at this point. Better than Schiano.

Tennessee will soon announce the hiring of Purdue coach Jeff Brohm after going 6-6 this year. Brohm was 30-10 at Western Kentucky. Buyout is $5 million, drops to $4 million Dec 5. Still owes Purdue about $750k for leaving WKY.

Coaches can certainly lie out their ass about taking jobs but Jeff Brohm is telling recruits he's not going to Tennessee.
