"Within Hegelianism, dialectic acquires a specialised meaning of a contradiction of ideas that serves as the determining factor in their interaction; comprising three stages of development: a thesis, giving rise to its reaction; an antithesis, which contradicts or negates the thesis; and the tension between the two being resolved by means of a synthesis."

Kids today, always bringing up Hegel and his crazy ideas. Next thing you know, we’ll be overrun with fascists. Whippersnappers!

I disagree.. I’ve known many that wonder about everything they hear and see but are still not “ intelligent “ Being a philosopher doesn’t make you intelligent just means you have extra time on your hands to think about things .

What's it a sign of when you don't pick up on somebody just making a goofy joke?

Just don't want you to think that because I mentioned Hegel and fascists, I actually know what I'm talking about. I've already expended the breadth of my knowledge of the subject and I don't even know what I said.

Agree 100%..There's so much negativity floating around and without really looking at things in a non negative way. CJP and this staff are gonna recruit at high levels, most have a history of developing players no matter what school they are at, most are also highly respected among their peers, recruits and Parents. Don't think some realize the reputation and respect that CJP has at all levels of football circles. Not to mention the trust Saban had in Pruitt and all the daily preparations that ran through JP. That's not something Saban does very often. CJP had more responsibilities as a DC and complete trust from Saban, than any other DC or Coach that's worked for him. That's exactly why Saban and Ala fans hated to lose him and was fighting so hard to keep him through the playoff games. Very few assistant coach's have the respect, longtime relationships and are as well known at every level of football that CJP is. He's assembled one of the best coaching and support staffs in college football. He thrives at and puts a large amount of time in developing relationships and that doesn't happen overnight. The ones complaining about our current recruiting class in March, need to understand that and just watch the class they assemble over the next 8-10 months. We will finish top 10 before it's said and done in February. That I have no doubt about. Butch's Cliche and car salesmen a$$ had 2 top 10 classes and on overall #14 average during his time here. That was with an average at best recruiting staff and HC with nowhere near the ties or reputation JP has. It should be at the very bottom of the worry list. Butch nor his staff aren't even in the same league or planet as JP and his Coach's. Not even remotely close either.

Reminds me of talking to a lady in the Stores section of the Chemistry Dept at Bammer... this was about a month ago, as she was buying a small amount of supplies from my company, and I told her VN was generally thrilled with our new HC their former DC. She practically cried about losing Pruitt.

Lol.. exactly..I live among them and they hated to lose JP. They never really complain about losing Coach's, not even Kirby. Atleast not as much as they hated losing Pruitt. You don't get that type of reaction if you suck as a coach, weren't doing your job or wasn't well liked. I've never heard so many players have so much positive stuff to say about one of their former Coach's. I guarantee Butch wasn't hearing that when he left lol..Only time will tell how it translates into him being a successful HC, but he's got more of the intangibles than some veteran HC's have.
