I don't think he's a tremendous tactician either...however, I do think he will make it more difficult for UT to recruit in a state that's been very good for the Vols in the past.

He's an upgrade to their staff, in my opinion.

the guy is one of the best talent evaluators in the country. that SC dline he turned around was not highly recruited at all. he turned warrenn sapp from a lazy undersized lowly regarded player into a top-10 pick. i'm not sure how his gameday Xs and Os are but he definetly knows how to coach the D.

He can coach the DL. He's not shown he can do anything else beside being a damn good recruiter.

I'd love to have him at Tennessee to coach the DL and be the recruiting coordinator, but not as the DC. JMO

To do what coach the punters or help them install the Mustang.

UT couldn't get that lucky. But I can't see CSS hiring a guy he has taken behind the woodshed so many times over the last 15 years.

I'd like to see it happen but the SC dc hasn't went anywhere has he?..

well sure in an ideal world, but i bet he wont be willing to take just the Dline and recruiting coordinator job. if he'd take that i'm sure he'd be flying back to LA by now.
