I choose to believe FACTS, if you choose to believe speculation thats your choice. I can't believe that a lawyer of all people would believe speculation over fact. Im still waiting to see this magical document appear that has facts supporting the statement that BP cheated on his wife. Come on Mr. Lawyer, I know you of all people would certainly be able to tell me where its at if it exist, being that you have experience in these matters....

1. Nobody "qualifies" for alimony. You either willingly pay it to avoid embarrassment in court(the route Pearl took) or a judge imposes it on you. The percentage of cases in Tennessee where alimony is ordered is quite low.
2. Since it was a settlement and not a judicial fiat, Pearl will be paying, by his own decision, a lot longer than three years and a Hell of a lot more than $2,500. Is that the action of an innocent man?
3. Kim Pearl is educated and healthy. The only factor that lends itself to her getting exorbinant spousal support payments is the one I quoted above. Wonder what that's all about?

I dont need people to support me, I ride alone. I dont support everything one poster says just because of who it is posting it even if it has no merit according to fact. Seriously man, get off of hat's nut$, he can fight his own battles without you and others bein his cheerleaders....

Everything you just said, besides the citing of the law at the beginning, is your OPINION. I dont care what your opinion is, I care what the FACTS say. You dont know what "route pearl took", you are simply speculating...

It wouldn't matter WHO is posting it. Even MHF could post it (though its rare he is on the right side of any theory) and I would back it up.

Your probably the guy who would let his wife cheat on him 14 times but not leave her, waiting until you had a document of proof showing that she did it, even though 2,000 people seen it and told you about it.

You're right. I don't know Pearl's lawyer and Kim Pearl's lawyer personally. I don't know the judge who presided over the hearings. I'm just purely guessing. Keep having blind faith in people. You'll eventually learn your lesson.

Yes i support BP, no ive never indicated in any way that he was perfect. He has his fair share of faults, as we all do. I fully understand the purpose of negotiating settlements, but I also understand that you do not know that he did so, and you have yet to produce something that says that he did. As far as we know, the alimony could have been court ordered......

I think it's pretty obvious that's not the case. The info is basically all here and all you have to do is pay attention. If you haven't seen enough proof yet, then I'm quite confident the only thing that could convince you is an actual videotape of the affair.

Are you this intentionally dense? Divorce trials are public. Think it might have gotten a little bit of coverage if Pearl had been party to a trial? I think it's a pretty sound guess. How is the only other way to get divorced? Through settlement. I realize adding one and one here might be difficult for you, but I have faith you can piece it together.
