People on this board are going to have to stop looking for instant gratification. If that is what you yearn for, go root for bama, or lsu. This kind of behavior is why we are in the situation we are in right now.

Posted via VolNation Mobile I think that if we hadn't have let Fulmer go we wouldn't be in this mess. You don't just up and fire the winningest active coach in college football because some boosters are busting your balls. That was chicken**** on Hammy's part IMO. You can't honestly tell me that Fulmer couldn't have fielded a better team than what was shown today.IMO our current situation has more to do with allowing a former coach to hold down the job for at least 3 years too long, his replacement bailing after and year and then replacing him with a guy who couldn't even win in the WAC. That's just my $0.02, but it could be fans on a message board getting impatient because they fail to see their team ever making any improvements and their top rivals habitually embarrassing them every time they play.
Moral victories are garbage, but I do give some credit for not quiting. That will pay them back.
Oh yes, and there needs to be something done about Palardy. I can go out there and kick it wide left. Seriously, is he the best we have???

How? Is the NCAA going to review the tape and retroactively award us some points and possibly a win? No sense in looking for rays of sunshine in this game, because at the end of the day, one of our top rivals straight up kicked our ass today, and that always sucks.
All great return men go FULL SPEED straight ahead. These guys seem like they're afraid of getting hit full speed or something. On a positive note, at least our kick off team has learned how to stop the return much better.
You take this stuff way too seriously dude...you need to get a hobby or maybe a life
No, I'm just sick of week after week having to look for some BS silver lining in the wake of another beatdown from an SEC team. At some point, beating crap teams and only being able to chalk up moral victories against real competition gets old.
Are you a Fulmer loyalist as well? Whether you believe it or not the program was decimated at the end of his tenure and then Kiffin's recruits turned out to be less than stellar so give Dooley a chance before you spout all this garbage. none of us like to see the Vols lose, but you're making yourself look ignorant....straighten up

Don't get me wrong, I believe in coach Dooley, and I think he will do great things for our program, but some people just don't get it. We aren't going to be a stellar football overnight. It takes time.

Yep, Dooley should be fired tomorrow and UT should offer Saban $7,000,000 a yearNo, his time had come and gone. By this point we should at least be seeing some inkling of results if we had a competent HC, not just getting annihilated in gainesville AGAIN, by the most beatable UF team we've seen in 5-7 years. How can you justify calling my statements about DD ignorant, when you're defending a guy literally done nothing but lose as a HC? Eventually you just have to call a spade a spade.
How many balls did Bartholomew catch? Poole? Lane? Milton? Arnette? and on and on. How many drops did they have? None. There are plenty of guys to get the ball to who will catch it. It makes it harder when there is no running offense and everyone in the stadium knows you are going to throw it.
If you have never played wide out, then stop talking. Nothing gets you focused like watching some one else catching the ball...while you stand on the side line.
