Coaching change?

Dooley may soon be known as Mr. November. (in other words he can't win an SEC game until then) But I'm hoping that will change this Saturday.

Yea id rather start over with a new coach than to see us keep going in this direction. we need a 5 millon dollar coach or some1 who can get us in the top10 in recruiting year after year.He should have been able to beat atleast 1 top 25 team in his coaching tenure.

:clapping::clapping:Sorry 7-5 want work. To many fans on the fence that will be jumping off if State is not won. 8-4 would work for him

1-9 Last 10 SEC Games
4-14 Overall SEC Games @ Tennessee
14-16 Overall Record @ Tennessee
0-12 Against ranked teams @ Tennessee
0-19 Against ranked teams overall as a head coach
1-12 in games within 4 points at halftime
1st Loss to UK in 26 years
Worst Home Loss at Neyland

Oh well, we're looking good for next year though!!!

If we can keep Oregon under 65, it will be the 1st moral victory of 2013!!

Its just crazy how their 3 star RS Freshman QB looks like an All-American. Granted its the Pac 12, but he made Washington, a top 25 team. look plain silly.

And DeAnthony Arnett is just plain freakish.

I think you mean DeAnthony Thomas. Arnett was the WR who bailed on us.

Listening to Barnfart and i guess it was Doug Matthews on my way to the dog food store. They keep saying next year as far as Tennessee goes.

I understand the schedule is easier, more depth, a little more talent and a few teams changing this and that next year.

Just sounds like a built in excuse to suck, that's all.

Tennessee still doesn't have a running game, guess they'll magically find one by next year. Not enough playmakers on defense either. I guess all those will magically appear too.

To me, the media is just selling UT short and not even giving them a punchers chance. That's where they're wrong. It's a good enough team to beat someone they shouldn't and i believe they will. It would be nice to serve up some crow to some of these blowhard radio and tv personalties.

Tonight would be a good time to start.

This was wrote this week last year on this board...Im tired of excuses.

Coaching Change?

Nope! Not yet. I'm hoping Dooley will finally get it going, however if he doesn't I think it will be the end of next year before UT SERIOUSLY looks for a new coach. The only way I see Dooley getting canned this year if they really fall on their face AND we have a very good hire lined up.

Fanaticism (FAN for short)is a belief or behavior involving uncritical zeal, particularly for an extreme religious or political cause or in some cases sports, or with an obsessive enthusiasm for a pastime or hobby."

Disinclined is an unwilling support because of mild dislike or disapproval" 'Websters Dictionary'.

Which one describes best fits those on this site?
Are you a FAN or a DIS?

this is our team-win,lose, or draw. Our talent level and discipline had gotten to a low level, and it will take a while to build it back. The present coaching staff knows what they are doing. It just takes time. Let's support them even when they lose. That is what fans do.

I will support the team. I will cheer for them to win every game. I will also hope and pray Hart replaces Dooley ASAP. Losing is not worth waiting to see him fail.

Recruiting is the life blood of the program, and based SOLELY on the rankings and players we have been getting, this coaching staff is well behind the big players in the SEC. That's the first step to rebuilding this program, and we are in Dooley's 3rd year now, and sit 9th in the conference, and pretty much have been within 1 spot of that since July. We are likely to finish no better than 6th. To be honest, that shows us what the recruits believe the coaching ability of this staff to be, middle of the pack SEC.

+1

I would also add that if we did not stock pile WR's, our ranking would be even lower. Alot of our higher rated guys have been WR's. They will come if we are losing or not because they know we are going to chuck it deep 55 times a game.

Maybe they should convert one of the WRs to RB. Just sayin'.

I would rather see Pig more as a RB than in the slot.

It's been hard to watch RB after RB come off the board this year. Our last hope is Green, or Turman. I think making Turman wait for Green's decision could cost us.
