So, you resort to threatening me on a message board as your retort?? Not only that, but wanting to track me down as well, so I can "GET SOME!!!". You take yourself WAY too seriously on here. I have no problem with the OP, just the message he was trying to send to those who had a problem with the way things are going, and trying to suggest we go root for another team. So, get over yourself, because I didn't attack him, just the true fan crap he spewed.

were 9th this year and in the middle of the pack for the last 2.

Thank you. Glad to see another vfl. I couldn't say I would not be excited if we got Saban. But not gonna happen.

Da'Rick Rogers says hello. As far as the other stuff, I could care less if he never gave a press conference to a mostly incompetent Knoxville media, as long as he won games on the field.

He has restocked the roster and for the most part kept players out of trouble, but you have to have that coaching thing down and he doesn't.

I really think the most troubling thing is that we have nothing better to look forward to next year. I figured by year 4, as awesome of a coach, and as amazing of a recruiter Dooley is, we might be in a position to maybe win the East or something. What was i thinking??? Crazy me!

A lot of you think that this is 'accepting mediocrity' or 'is not going to cut it for a UT football team'. Well it is time to face reality. UGA, UF, USC, and UA are teams that we have to play every year. We are not going to be favored to win against those teams (maybe one or two of them will have a down year).

So quit yer b*tchin. This is our UT team. Support the team or find a new team to support. Accept the reality that they have better talent than us. :hi: We are the underdogs.

there are instances in which a coach can recruit but can't coach his players up nor can he assemble a good coaching staff. Examples of that are Mike Shula at "O Bama" and the coach at USC, prior to Pete Carroll.
When Shula left, Saban used the players that Shula recruited and began winning.
When the Carroll took over at USC, he used the players of the former coach and began winning.
When Pearl took over for Buzz, he used Buzz's recruits and had a 12 or 15 increase in wins, his first season.
That situation is more the exception than the norm,but it happens enough for me to mention it.
