Usually an interim coach is named off the old staff.

However if we were going to do that, why not stay with what we have now since it would be about the same.

Not sure how valid his claims are, but Jayson knows his stuff. Good to have a former player like him on the air, hope he stays there for a long time!

what if he is wrong. he would be no different than TB. I would think that former players would exercise restraint with info that they are given.

You are right about location, but facilities are not up to standard. UCLA should be able to recruit based on location, but recently they have not.

I would like to see Dooley take over Special teams and Wilcox to take over our dbs. That alone would free up two staff spots. That way we can hire a running backs coach and new oline coach.

Have you ever been to the Rose Bowl? (a) it's not close to campus (b) it's an uncomfortable place to watch a game (c) it's outdated.

Edit: (3) equally applies to the Coliseum

Yep anyone around any team will tell you this. The higher up you go the more it happens. This stuff is blown so far out of proportion!

Last time I saw him, he pulled up next to me at a stop light in a shiny new white Cadillac. He was by himself. Well behind the buses with players and the others. They came over to Winchester and blew out Franklin County...probably a first round game back ten years ago.

Ole Gary did alright for himself!

This. Most people that haven't been apart of teams don't understand. This stuff happens on HS teams but especially on all college teams.

It couldn't be good to fire your recruiting co cordinator during recruiting season.

They had some problems early in the season, but played a lot better later in the season despite several injuries.
