Coaching Change Today per Swain

To me, that doesn't matter at all. We played in the SEC, where all teams have a quarterback that can pass, and WR's that can catch.

According to your statement, you wouldn't have been pleased if we were number #1 in pass defense. I'm just saying, you can't put Terry Joseph down for this season. Can't help who we played, the defense still did a good job at containing the pass. I do not want anybody of our defensive staff gone. Chaney and Hiestand and maybe Russell are the only ones I'd be okay losing.

It matters a good bit, as Arky as well as a servicable Bama qb ate our lunch with the pass. Just pointing out the truth.

The only coach i would question on that side of the ball is in fact TJ. But, he didn't have a whole lot to work with.

Did anyone think Chuck Smith would be fired after last season?

Who knows. Just let it play out and don't react immediately.

Those numbers are skewed. Teams didn't have to pass alot on us and were effective when they did.

Yeah. Kind of like how Chavis defenses in 2005 and 2008 were overrated because our offense sucked so bad other teams just shut it down once they got the lead on us.

I hope it's not too drastic. We really do not need the players having to learn a new system, that's one thing that killed us the last few years of Fulmers tenure.

I can't see any coaching changes being made right now, with in-homes and recruiting being a top priority at the moment. With that being said, stranger things have happened, I guess.

Agree

Losing Baggett would hurt. But honestly, I would rather lose him than Thompson, Sirmon or Wilcox. He is a great recruiter with great credentials, but he is not the only one. I just wish they'd keep everything under wraps at least until after Junior College Signing day. I don't want to risk losing Autry, Patterson, Sentimore, or Jacobs.

I find it hard to believe we lose Baggett and not Heistand.

I am sure that there is a troll in our mist starting all this confusion and choas and then laughing about it. Some of this maybe true some false....who knows....It is what it is.....

Not taking a shot here necessarily... but why?

Which WR made big strides over the course of the season? Did run blocking at the WR position ever develop as it should? Did Baggett make the WR's he worked with... or did they make him?

Neal.

Double H is being let go or we are adding Porter would be my guess. jmo

Guess it depends on who we hire to coach the OL. Personally I thought Mitch Browning did a good job when he was here with Kiffin and the Outlaws.

It's Dooley.

He has refused to fire who Hart wanted fired in CJC.

We will see.

Some serious smoke here. Just reported that managers were seen carting boxes of hairspray out from Dooley's office. Obviously he is packing up!
