DC Randy Shannon ?????DC Steele ??????DC Ted Roof is going to PSU with O'Brien. DC Mike Snyder from S.Fla Univ is going to TxA&M, Stoops is going to OU, DC Spangler from LaTech, Tyron Nix from Ole Miss, DC Brent Venables from OU, Greg Hudson LB Coach from FSU, DC Mike Breske from Montana headed to WSU. Northern Iowa defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Jovan Dewitt , DC Dave Huxtable, is a PITT, LB Coach Reggie Johnson new DC at ARK, DC Pat Narduzzi staying at MSU, Sal Sunseri LB Coach at Bama possible candidate, DC Whithers to tOSU, DC Bennett stays at BU, DC Brian VanGorder to Aubby, Ron Zook former UT Assistant, Lance Thompson DL Coach, CentWash Univ DC Joe Lorig to ASU, Navy DC Buddy Green. On the ST side CDD has talked to ST COACH Tim Salem from UCF, and ST Chargers ST COACH Rich Bisaccia.

I would like to keep track of potential hires and the ones we miss out on in an update thread. Feel free to add names as the come up or get hired somewhere else.

My uninformed prediction is Sunseri as DC, Travis Jones as DL coach, LT moves to LB.

This is not rumor mill, this is coaches that have made moves to new schools or jobs and those that are said to have been contacted and it has been reliably confirmed (somewhat). There has not been any confirmation to Shannon, Sunseri, Spangler, Steele or even LT as being contacted or discussed as options.

a few hours ago the statement to me was we are almost starting over at DC search. I didn't ask details

Have heard nothing on other openings. Would do DC prior to other defensive position IMO

If we had a hard time hiring a HC when Kiffin left, why does anyone think a DC would be any easier.
