Coaching Candidates Moving Forward

First off, this is purely my opinion, and therefore no links to sources. But, based on remarks Phil made in the Presser, I think the list will be short and close to home, or a solid outsider. And, without hearing a definitive NO from PF, I don't think Leach is out yet, unless by his own accord. I don't see it being a long list, but I don't anticipate a quick hire either. Not this weekend anyway. He will personally take on recruit contacts that are in limbo, and proceed to business. So, here is my speculation on the candidate pool in no particular order:

Kevin Steele
Les Miles
Mike Leach
Tee Martin

Fulmer will be the AD. There is a period of time I believe before they can fill the position legally. Thus the acting title. Everything will get done and finalized though. I think everyone has had pressure firmly put on them.

Not sure about list...I would say Miles, Tee, Venables, perhaps kiffin, maybe Steele are on that list.

One thing I do know for almost a certainty is we are NOT going to hear all of this crap of "UT talking to guy X today", "Guy X turned them down, Vols now talking to Guy Y", "Guy Y is out of the picture, moving on to Guy Z"...that stuff is not going to fly with Phil.

When we hear something it will be "Tennessee signing Coach A to contract!"
