Coaches We Have Contacted

From a very reliable source in his 40's with the last name Bailey, the AD has started contacting coaches. He wouldn't give me any big names (hinted at some), but he gave me 4 smaller ones, some of whom have already been mentioned here. I give you, in no particular order:

1. Frank Wilson
2. Jason Candle
3. Neal Brown
4. Jedd Fisch

Obviously, as with any hearsay, take it with a large grain of salt.
Well, if he's in his forties...

Sounds so hideous it has to be true.

I can't believe any of you have ever heard of Frank Wilson. He was Kiffin's RB coach when he was here.

Frank wilson probably only one on list but he is probably at 10-12. Would have to swing and miss some. But not knowing who he is would be more in you guys. Especially since he coached here. Casual fans only in this thread.

I highly doubt John Currie has begun contacting any coach anywhere. He has a football coach and it would be highly unethical for him to be talking to coaches who were employed at other institutions. His name would be mud all over the college football landscape.

Do not believe this is happening.

I know someone in the athletic department but he won’t ever tell me much. I finally got him to tell me the name of one guy we may go after and he mentioned Jedd Fisch. I had to look the guy up and figured he was joking. Hopefully the OP is trolling but that is a weird coincidence that he listed Jedd Fisch too.

This can not be correct. Two of these coaches has a losing season. And the other 2 are from smaller schools like Troy. Bad!

You remember Dooley? His record before coming here was horrible.

May be as assistant coaches... there is zero chance any of these guys are legit contenders for the job. These guys make Jeff Brohm look like Nick Saban.

Mike MacIntyre
Jeff Brohm
Tee Martin would get the job well before Fisch
Charlie Strong
Dave Doern

Hell even Jim Mora Jr. would get an interview long before any of the guys in the OP. All indications are we are loosening the purse and going after big names. None of these guys fits that mold.

Now I don't know how many people we'll actually interview. My guess is likely less than 10. I doubt these fellas make the cut.

Neal Brown the guy from Troy? Other than that no clue who other 3 are.

I will burn some sh*t if we hire one of those 4.
