I'm thinking 5 to 8 range. Same for AP, when it comes out.

There have been enough sites with really good track records (like Pick Six, McIllese, Phil Steele) saying we could make the CFP, that will bump us higher in Coaches & AP than we would've been a month ago.

I remember last year UF started out the season ranked behind our opener, Bowling Green. They may well deserve to be outside the top 25, but even the biggest homer has to admit the vols have a mental block with the gators. I really wish it wasn't so (or that it was a problem with literally any other team), but until we stop snatching defeat from the jaws of victory with Florida I'll keep my expectations tempered.

I think they'll sneak us in the top-10 at 9 or 10.

Teams that I'm sure will be above us:

- Oklahoma
- Alabama
- Clemson
- LSU
- Florida St

I think we'll be tucked in around 10ish with Michigan, Ohio St, Stanford, Notre Dame, UCLA, Washington. How many of those teams do you trust the coaches to give us the nod over?

I'm curious to see where they rank:

- Ole Miss
- Michigan
- Washington
- Florida
- Texas
- Houston
