The polls are a joke. Never have I seen such ridiculous BS in my life....but whatever. If we take care of business the way we should have it wouldn't have mattered.

Ohio St lost to an unranked PSU team and only dropped 3 spots a few weeks ago.

If we're honest about this though, we've struggled all year long, no matter who we've played, win or loss, with the exception of the FCS team we played yesterday. At times we've looked very impressive, but we've been a very up and down team and we've yet to play a full, solid 60 minute game all year long vs an FBS team.

Totally agree. But its not been consistent this year. Ohio State played like complete trash against an unranked PSU and dropped what, 4 spots? They were still in the top 10. That shows a complete lack of knowledge. We got dropped for a win this year. Thats just insane. You get punished for a win? If thats the case, why shoukd Wesetern Michigan be ranked? They have played nobody. The polls have been really messed up this year at times.

One of the things at play is that style points matter a lot more in September. Win ugly then, and it can cost you. Whereas, enough blood has been shed by October and especially November, that a "just find a way to win" attitude sets in, even among the pollsters.

We were in large part the victim of our own tendency to win ugly in the early part of our schedule. If we'd played the App State game in exactly the same way, but this past weekend instead of early September, it probably would not have cost us a single spot in the polls (if we'd been in the polls).

How many teams in the Top 25 with 3 losses have played 4 ranked teams to lose to two of which are top 10 ( one being Alabama ) and taking the other to OT. Yes, we loss to SC but we still deserve to be in the Top 25. Our opponents' records have been much better than the opponents records of many in the top 25 with 2 losses. FSU is overated as many others. The polls are a joke. We just have to win out and maybe they will let us back in.
