Check out these crazy schedules for this week (from TOS). Looks like they're keeping all the plates spinning at the same time!:

Head coach Lane Kiffin flew back in Tuesday for practice along with running backs coach Eddie Gran. The two spent Monday and Tuesday morning recruiting in South Florida.

Kiffin headed back out Tuesday night. Ed Orgeron, Willie Mack Garza, Frank Wilson, Lance Thompson, James Cregg and David Reaves all missed Tuesday's practice to recruit.

Offensive coordinator Jim Chaney spent Monday in California recruiting and flew the red eye home in time for meetings and Tuesday's practice. Defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin is expected to be on the road during the day Wednesday.

"It's actually kind of fun because individuals aren't that long, which is the boring part of practice for me. So we just do a bunch of team stuff," Kiffin joked of being short-handed on the practice field. "It's good though. Our guys are all over the country seeing the best players and the reception has been phenomenal, especially after our last game.

Recruiting is key, but shouldn't we have some balance as to keeping the team practicing and working up a game plan for the TIDE...? This last win was great for the staff and for our recruiting potential...but what would defeating Saban at #2 do?:whistling:

They are probably coming up with a sceme on the road. The players really need rest mentally as well as healing there body. They will be practicing at full force next week.

You can only prepare so much for one team. Realisticly, the Kiffins only need a week to be prepared for a week. In-Home visit by one of them is very impressive, and they have so many miles to cover.

Coach O (per Buford player) may be in Buford Ga. Wednesday. That's about 10 miles from (Jawaun James) North Gwinnett.

Anybody wanna bet me that at least one of our coaches has Bama's game film downloaded to his video iPod?

These guys eat, sleep, and drink ball. Even more than that, they multitask multiple coaching activities at once for 16 hours a day. You just gotta love it.

Buford is a tiny little town between Atl and Athens with a 2A high school, which dominates every year in that class. They normally produce a few stud recruits per year, wouldnt be bad at all to get one.

All I can say is: it is refreshing to see a staff so determined to recruit and forego a break and stay at home. I would love to see CLK on the sideline of an STA game this friday night. Rumor has it he will be in GA to watch some players.

Coordinators and GA's are handling the practices this week. Position coaches are on the road recruiting. CLK has prioritized every aspect. This week they are working on team activities more than individual position. They will role individual back in for game week preparation.

Appears to me that CLK has this thing nailed!!!!!
