... should include a " payback clause" where a portion of their salary is paid back to the university for each loss. This includes assistant coaches as well, across the board. It would motivate the coaching staff as a whole to go that extra step for a win if it hits them in the wallet. If a particular coach is responsible for poor decisions, he would be more likely to be let go if everyone's paycheck was docked.

In theory its an interesting idea...

I don't see it ever being implemented though, it easier for everyone just to withhold payment until the end of year and pay out performance incentives.

Brilliant!! This would attract all the best coaches to come and work here. Maybe Dooley and Hamilton would come back.

What makes you think they aren't trying to win? That's just ridiculous. Their incentive is their job, contract extensions, opportunities down the road, recruits, quality of life, etc...

C'mon man. Is this serious?

How about forcing Justin Worley to run the read option last year? Guy has blamed the players for both losses. He's a used car salesman and a liar. Thank goodness he got that well-deserved contract extension he pressured Hart in to. Guy is a loser.
