I think it’s a high as we need to go. Only a few other schools would be willing to pay more and if they come calling so be it. Baseball never can generate the $ as it can at those other schools that would pay more.

They deserve a raise but SEC baseball assistants aren’t like football. Very rarely do you see assistants move unless they get a head coaching job

This was something that was required according to an article I read. Also he did get more money for his assistants so they will be getting a raise. I heard a couple of programs reached out to Elander and he said he was staying put.
