Coach tyndalls offensive system

Skipping commercials and halftime it's always minimum an hour when I watch a recorded game, but that's cause I usually end up rewinding to rewatch parts.

Was just giving him a hard time anyways, I'll tip my hat to anybody willing to watch 7 games in a row sitting in a locker room lol.

Yeah if I'm in a locker room for 7 hrs it better have a really big nice couch, some food and maybe a cheerleader or 2. Lol

On a related note, watching a recorded game is great because you can avoid commercials etc. But it really sucks trying to avoid the score all day long. Working second I have mastered this art, which is to turn my phone off. Lol

Anyways.........

My hope is that Tyndall is versatile. I hate coaches that have one system and use that every year. You want a plan in place, a type of environment coaching wise. You want to be known for something and you can bank on that but a big issue's of Martin and Pearl was that there was very little versatility. They struggled to adjust to their teams. Pearl finally got it and I think Martin was too (although we might never know).

For example, this year's team should run, run, run, run, run, run, and......run. They have nobody other than Josh Richardson that has proven on a regular basis they can create their own shot in the half court. You have athletes like Hubbs, Mostella, etc on the wings that are three and transition guys. You are going to need easy buckets because you won't create a lot in the half court.

Now next year, maybe that changes. You don't have to bank on that from day one.

Obviously it did as you assumed I was referring to last years UNLV team lol.

If scoring the same number of points per game as we did last year under Martin qualifies as Run & Gun, then there's a a lot you need to learn.

I like that we've already determined their scoring average before their first game...much more time for activities. :clapping:
