So now NCAAT 1/3 years is ok with you?

Like I said, changing the standard.

thats not ok with me......its about building a program and getting it to a consistent level. if you remember correctly, i stated many times Zo's fourth yr would tell us all we needed to know about him bc he wasnt recruiting at high level to make the tournament. You only hear want you want you want to hear and will go to no ends to defend Zo.

Two points. Basketball players are more committed to their coach than football, so leaving after a change is not that uncommon.

As far as the racial angle, explain how Uconn, KY, Kansas, Duke, and Louisville get players for me?

GO VOLS!!!!!
Did they get Darius Thompson and A.J. Davis?

Look at you, already making excuses for years 1 & 2 of Donnie Ball, lmao. Yet calling Zo's season 1&2 a failure, talk about a hypocrite.

they were failures and if CDT doesnt make it they will be failures as well. Doesnt mean that u arent building a program and will get a stable program that becomes a program that we all can be proud of. i first knew Zo was not the man for us was when he signed moore reese and edwards as a second class. He was not competing on the recruiting trail and Rob Lewis stated as much.

I agree with you to some extent, but there is more to it all. Each season itself is subjective and an isolated incident. Also, expectations vs reality should shift as a season goes on.

For example. Season 3 under CCM was a slight disappointment in my mind until the tournament run. After that run it made the season a good season IMO.

Season 2 under CCM was a disappointment IMO, point blank. I believed we had the talent to be a tourney team and before the late season run things looked real bad. Even then we just had to beat a middling Alabama team to seal the deal and couldn't

I'll judge Tyndall as I have more information. This situation with recruits and attrition with players is CRAZy, but I want to see it play out first and criticism will be warranted if it doesn't go well.

So if Tyndall hasn't made the NCAAT by year 2 and had at least 1 top 20 class it's time for a change...right?

If they don't want to be here and were so far up Martin's ass that they couldn't stand to play for someone else then good riddance. We'll find someone else. UT will survive and move on. Next year may suck, but it was going to suck with or without Martin because of his pathetic recruiting.

It's my opinion that there has to be a little give and take between coaches and players in a coaching transition. It's a big change and it takes time for all to gel.

The whole scorched earth, my way or the highway policy, while effective at places like Morehead State and Southern Miss, might backfire at a place like UT where you have guys with more options on the table than your previous stops.

See ya! Neither were VFL's, wonder if they were worried about a little competition.

i count him but he was a special case and i didnt feel was a good example of his recruiting prowess since he followed it up with moore reese and edwards

And then another 5* in Hubbs, good one.

It's not as if Stokes had to decide Tennessee or JUCO, he had options.
