Just wondering if there is a HC now in the NFL that was previously a HC in college that is not doing too well or might back out?

I look at Saban, Spurrier, and Petrino and they all had similar ways of landing in the SEC.

They were ALL HC of an NFL team, but were also successful in College.

Who would fit this profile?

Dave Wannstedt helped win two NCAA titles (one with Majors), went to NFL, and then came back to coach Pitt, but that didn't turn out too well.

Also, Bill Callahan took Oakland to the superbowl (and lost to Gruden), then went and failed at Nebraska.

If Dooley is fired, then I'd love to have Cowher. He's a tough nose type coach and that's the kinda ball I'd love to see again on the hill.

Not starting rumor. Just heard His name thrown out with Gruden's

Over the next several weeks this board will be a plethora of names being thrown out. Many will have been told said name by an "insider" or "big money booster". Then there are those who were told by the little green men that come to see them when the moon is full.

Thought so... Think I'll just let the season play out. I dread another coaching change but the way it's going I feel it coming. Come on Dooley shock the world this weekend!!!

The "little green men" are all knowing.
