Relax, Coach T will be fine. You know, folks, none of the people who matter seem very concerned at all. "But while Tyndall is understandably tight-lipped about the ongoing NCAA investigation into the time he and his staff spent at Southern Miss, multiple sources close to Tennessee’s coach and that ongoing investigation insist that he’ll be fine in the long run if the UT administration stands by him."

Well, with Butch Jones and Dave Hart sitting side by side at the last game cheering them on, I think that question has already been answered. I know both have his back 100%. It has also been reported that the big money donors have his back so we'll see what happens. In the meantime, recruiting news is approaching. Tyndall and staff appear to be very busy on that front.

Jmo, but that doesn't mean much right now. I'm sure he has support, and I expect him to be back but if the NCAA leaves us no choice (like with pearl) he will be gone too. Like I said, I expect him to be back but we won't know for certain until the NCAA actually lets them know something.

well the limbo UT is in right now is CDT and harts fault. the program can't recruit really good players because of this. lost only 4* player who committed. doesn't matter much if the staff is burning money on the recruiting trail. ncaa should not be aloud to drag these issues out either.

I think if CDT keeps moving ahead and telling the truth and answer the questions, this will be ok. If he becomes uncooperative it will be a replay of the Pearl time. Not anyone was a winner there.

The booger eater is weak in the knees. If the almighty NCAA comes darkening his door, he will crumble upon their presence.

How did UT end up with two long time employees of our biggest rivals running the show here anyways? Cheek spent 34 years at UF, and the name Bama Dave speaks or itself.

We need Phil Fulmer, Pat Summitt, or somebody else that that bleeds orange to be high up in the administration or AD. I'm not saying they need to run the show, but be given some say so and pull.

To me the most interesting thing about the article is who may be transferring out to make room for these two or three others that he may sign. Hope its at least two quality big men.

It's starting to look like CDT may not have a future at UT

If you're basing that on all the discussion on this site then I think I would reassess my position.... The only way we lose him as our coach is if NCAA give a show cause penalty otherwise I think he's here for the long run..,, and there is absolutely no new information that we are any closer to a decision one way or the other.... We're talking about too much money to throw away a suspended coach.., not for sure they would terminate him even if he suspended for half the season ....show cause??? obviously that will be a totally different animal altogether....

I forgot he got rewarded so well we all lived happily ever after lol

So now it's gone on to being " rewarded"? Thought we were talking about support at games by Butch and Hart and what that does/does not indicate?

All I'm saying is both Jones and Hart are smart men and if theres going to be national media coverage they're going to show their faces. Now I support CDT but I don't believe that to be the case from Harts camp.

How would it be Hart's fault?

How would it be Hart's fault?

It was a fairly quick hire after the White interview. I'm not of the belief it was Harts fault necessarily, but if he didn't properly vet a coach that immediately came under investigation after being hired, it does have a ring of negligence to it. Imo
