Coach Rang resigns from Powell

How do you expect people to respond to you when all you do is call them names? You are the one that keeps starting ****. Ok I get it your pissed because of the coaching and that Powell is down. I get it that your frustrated but you don't have to continue to call people names. You didn't like my opinion so you started by the "How's home life" BS. What have I said that you haven't provoked??

And it's fine if you all of a sudden dislike Fulton because of me. That's fine I think we will be just fine.

So go ahead and be buds with the Central fan who just dogged you and took great pleasure off of your defeat and the looks on the Powell faces. He told you so but it's perfectly fine as long as orangepants didn't say it.
Go back and read it - I didn't call you a name for several posts. Get over it. Sticks and stones.....And you actually called me a name first.

I didn't like your opinion because YOU AREN'T QUALIFIED TO GIVE ONE ON POWELL. Period, end of story. I don't comment about Fulton because I don't know anything about their program, other than they are kicking everyone's butts. It would be awful presumptuous of me to comment on Fulton, but you are apparently an expert on every high school program.

You are still crying because I asked you about your home life. Whew, grow up. I asked that because there didn't seem to be any sense for your ridiculous comments and incessant arguing. It was a joke.

What's funny, is I actually conceded to you by saying by your standards we aren't a upper echelon team. Most people would have stopped there, but you couldn't let it go and kept pushing. Funny how you try to pin this on me. Go back and read all of the posts. Further proof you bring nothing to the board other than arguments.

Has to get the last post in 3,2,1......

Haha, says the butthurt Powell fan. You have no point here.

1st, I'm a Morristown West Trojan. I follow Powell because I live here. I go to the games because my Jr high son wants to go. But don't confuse me for a die hard Powell fan. I do find it funny you drug up this thread. You were talking big and bad last year then Powell slammed your ass and you started making excuses. Lol, now a year later you come on here acting like you told everyone this and that. Your program is MEDIOCRE at best! You got that? M.E.D.I.O.C.R.E.!!!!!!!

He's not "qualified" to give an opinion on Powell? If you don't mind me asking, what does that mean? And where does one obtain these qualifications?

Please orangepants, tell big bad Robbie to turn them loose. I want yall's best shot. Your setting yourself up, you better pray Fulton wins. You better hope we dont turn JaJuan Stintson loose, or maybe Josh Poplar. Or, how about a sophmore named Jeremiah Howard. Bring on Hawkins and Rollins, our boys see that same speed everyday in practice. We're not intimidated by that F on the helments, or them ugly Maroon jerseys. We're not intimidated by your players or your coaches or you fans. Like I said, remember 14 in a row, 1984. We hold the rook here bud, Ill see you and all the other Central dodgers at Big bad Bob Black Field friday night. Hey maybe you can find me, Ill be the one wearing Red and Black.

Rich, you are qualified because you know what is going on. The qualification is you live in the community and knows what is going on. Perhaps you haven't read all of his original posts, he just wants to argue because I said Powell was an upper echelon team.

But I'm finished with his nonsense. He can have the last word. I conceded early on and that didn't satisfy him.

Didn't argue just said Powell "in my opinion was not an upper echelon team". Was not arguing. Get over it already.

I would talk Mr. 84 14 in a row. I think we have a chance. You dogged every Powell at the beginning if this post and that included JPS. You don't feel bad for any Powell fan. So after Friday night I hope all the Powell fans give it to you. Then we will see who is butthurt like you put it!! Now JPS may not like me but you need to chill.

As much as it pains me, I have to agree with you on this one. BigO and I came to an understanding, but I don't see Central having a chance against Fulton. Hope I'm wrong.

You guys need a good game to counter over-confidence.

Over- confidence? I don't think these kids are over confident.

How can they not be over-confident? That is only natural when you have destroyed every team you play. Just saying a close game would do them good to ensure the team doesn't get complacent and stays focused.

Ok I see where you are coming from. I even think I agree with you. I don't think this team will be tested till maybe Greenville if they meet in the playoffs. Greenville is pretty strong.

I find it hard to believe that Maryville would be scared of Fulton. A program doesn't win 13 state titles by being scared.

I doubt Maryville would be either. I would say every season they would be a favorite this year would be an interesting game but Maryville scared, nah.

I wouldn't say Maryville is scared. But I do think it's foolish to think Maryville would beat them just because it's Maryville. I've seen quite a few good Maryville teams in the past 20 years. A few of them were what I would consider great. Keep in mind, some of Maryville's best teams IMO were actually when they were a 4A team. No reason to sleep on Fulton. This team is far and away better than some of the Alcoa teams that beat Maryville. And IMO its on par with some of the better Maryville teams I've seen the past two decades. And yes I've seen both Maryville and Fulton this year. I've vowed to never bet against Maryville. But if these two teams lined up, I would do just that. Some of you need to get out and watch this Fulton team play....if nothing else, as a fan of good football. I will promise you, it's gonna be a few years before you see another team like this. Jmo

I would love to see them play. I don't think it is a foregone conclusion Fulton would win. I guarantee Quarles would have an excellent game plan to offset F's athleticism. Fulton wins on paper, but reality may be a different story. Too bad we'll never find out.

Quarrels is probably the best HS coach I've seen. People downplay what he does at times because it's in East Tennessee. You know the usual "he wouldn't do it in Florida" blah blah blah blah. If he were in Florida he would be coaching Florida talent. Obviously he would lose a few more games here and there in a "power" state. But IMO if you can coach, you can coach.

Well I hope you enjoyed the game tonight. 69-14!!! Sad thing is Fulton only threw the ball 5 times all night. And those studs at Central had 20 yards rushing all night and under 200 yards of offense. Also your first string didn't fair much better against Fulton's second string who owned you the whole 4th qtr. Scoring twice on straight handoffs. So make your excuses and talk about how your going to humble Fulton next year because you were pretty spot on for tonight!
