Any chance Coach Pruitts Alabama ties helps us get a few Bama kids . Since Bama and Auburn have been good we have almost been locked out of that state when it comes to recruiting . Imo Bama and South Carolina are two states we need to get back for the good guys ... also two of the hardest to win back right now .

More talent in Georgia...

There's more talent in Tennessee now than Alabama and South Carolina combined.

People are gonna be surprised by how heavy on Tennessee players our team is gonna be in coming years. We're still gonna recruit nationally and get some of the top players from across the country. But at its core, this will be a Tennessee heavy roster.

No reason not to with how much talent there is coming up in the state right now. There are currently 19 composite 4-stars in the class of 2019 in the state of Tennessee. That's 5th most in the country after Florida, Texas, Georgia, and California. Class of 2020 looks to be even more talented. Right now 247sports only has the top 107 players in the class of 2020 ranked. Tennessee has 8 players in that top 107 right now. That twice as much as Louisiana which has only 4 players in the top 107. And trails only Florida, Texas, Georgia, and California (who each have about 12-13 players in the top 107) for 5th most in the nation.

As Coach Pruitt said, the first goal is lock down the state. Keep the very best players instate and playing for the University of Tennessee. And then supplement our roster with the top players from across the country. There's honestly no reason why Tennessee shouldn't be a perennial top 5 team in recruiting from 2019 on.

ehh I agree the state of Tennessee has had some crazy talent the last few years but I'd much rather have in roads to Alabama than the state of Tennessee. Maybe the coaching has improved so much this is the new normal but I'm not so sure.

I am sure it will help out. I just hope fans dont think that Pruitt is going to come in here and start pulling in Alabama level recruiting classes immediately. Saban is still in Alabama. Which means he will still get his choice of the top recruits in the state for the foreseeable future.

Pruitt can sell recruits on playing time at Tennessee. If they go to Bama probaly have to red shirt and sit out a year.

Auburn is also doing well. Hard to recruit Alabama players when both of those schools are finding success.
