His initial injury was to his ankle not his knee. That came later. It's rather common when coming back from an injury to over compensate for the injured area to injure something else. Not saying I know that's what occurred, just saying how poor our previous staff was in a lot of areas and given our higher rates of injury than many others, this was something they may not have taken into account for many of our players. CBJ did a decent job of trying to protect players like Maggitt by sitting them out, but that may not have been the only way to manage kids coming back from a serious injury.

The fact that they had to go back in and do another procedure after his meniscal repair is somewhat concerning to me. The doctors normally don’t go back in for a “clean up” procedure after that unless there is lingering persistent pain or swelling. Then they go back in to try and figure out what’s causing it. Hopefully they did, because he’s a difference maker on the field when healthy.
I wish him a speedy recovery and hope the best for him and his health.

Share your info here so they can consult with you on the treatment plan. They obviously are inept rookies.

Prayer lifted for Darrin And his family. I appreciate coach sharing this news with us. I have a good feeling about our new coach. Loved the video of him today. Pumped for Orange and White game and the fall. Go Big Orange. Get well Darrin!
