UF, Oklahoma, and Alabama don't retire numbers. Oregon and Texas A&M also don't have any retired numbers but not sure if that is a policy. Some of those others are very recent winners who might be retired in time (Daniels, Burrow). It is. Hard to believe there are that many going back 10+ years. I assume a few of those schools must have a policy against retiring numbers.
Cam and Woodson were the 2 biggest surprises for sureUF, Oklahoma, and Alabama don't retire numbers. Oregon and Texas A&M also don't have any retired numbers but not sure if that is a policy. Some of those others are very recent winners who might be retired in time (Daniels, Burrow).
It is wild to me though that Auburn hasn't officially retired #2 (nobody has worn it since Cam, but it hasn't officially been retired), because they do retire numbers. Same for Michigan and Woodson.

"We're talking about Shedeur. We ain't talking about nobody else," the coach/father said. "If his last name wasn't Sanders, we wouldn't have this discussion."![]()
Coach Prime responds to jersey retirement critics
Deion Sanders responded to criticism from former Colorado players on Thursday who claim the retirement of jersey numbers for Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders is too soon.www.espn.com
Not only would Shadeur's jersey not have been retired now, but it would never even come up for discussion at anytime in the future."We're talking about Shedeur. We ain't talking about nobody else," the coach/father said. "If his last name wasn't Sanders, we wouldn't have this discussion."
Exactly. Because his jersey wouldn’t be retired.

That is the ultimate "correct, but for the wrong reason" statement. That's an incredibly "No s*** Sherlock" type of statement from Prime Time.
Do you realize what Colorado football had been for the 25 years before Sanders & Co arrived?
For the most part, IDC about criticizing the Shadeur Sanders, Caleb Williams, etc. of the CFB world, but there are so many aspects to this that stink like BS:
- Why right now? That is so weird. Tebow's 15 isn't even retired, yet.
- His individual successes (awards and stats) do not merit retirement, in a traditional sense.
- He was only there 2 years and had modest team success.
- He seemed like a crappy leader. Maybe the guys liked him, but he threw them under the bus a bunch.
Nepo baby BS. Had to do it now while Deion is still there, because it probably doesn't happen otherwise.
If he falls that far, I wouldn't say too high. Top 15 would be too high.I think he'll fall to the late first round, somewhere around the 23rd pick or later. That easily meets your standard of being drafted WAY too high.
