If you want to see what a good coach does all you have to do is look at our basketball coach. The team he coaches gets better as the year goes on. Dooley and his worshipers just make excuses.

I think one thing you have to do is look at the resumes to see that the OP is on target. Dooley had a losing record at LA Tech and has never proven he can win big, even at the mid-major level. Not saying he can't be a winning coach, but he hasn't shown that capability.

CCM's record @ Missouri St
Yr 1 - 11-20
Yr 2 - 24-12
Yr 3 - 26-9

The proof is in the pudding, and CCM is a proven winner. That is a fact.

CCM has done an outstanding job with the talent and situation he was given and I can't wait to see if we can continue finishing strong and make a strong NIT run, but comparing him to CDD is oranges and apples! You can't even begin to compare the two situations, nevermind you are talking about two different sports with the SEC considered top (football) and close to bottom (b-ball) with rosters and variables that are totally different. DUMB THREAD. :blink:

I doubt Coach Martin has ever coached a down of football.

Excuses and blind faith is all Dooley worshipers have. We can't look at his record and make a comment because uhhhhhhhhhhhh well we just can't. Be a VFL and support Dooley no matter how sheety he does. Right?

Beef...what exactly are you trying to accomplish? It seems to make you mad that everyone is fired up about the 2012 football season. You have the option of not participating. Just sell your tickets and sit out this year. No biggie...my brother-in-law did it in either 2004 or 2005. He just sold his entire season to some dude and sat it out. He was mad at Hammy for putting his name on a telemarkerting list.
