Did anybody happen to catch the session this AM on 102.5 The Game in Nashville, featuring Coach Majors? His political rant was absolutely hilarious. I will see if I can find a link with the recorded audio.

They brought him on to talk about his experience in the UT/Vandy rivalry. He went into how he liked the city of Nashville and respected the University of Vanderbilt. Somehow that turned into, and I paraphrase "I dont go upto Nashville very much anymore. Too many radical liberals controlling that city. There are two good, respectful conservative Tennessee Senators that I am good friends with. The rest of them are way to radical for me and we need to get them out." Again this is me paraphrasing but he had the three hosts cracking up for 10 mins.

And no one listens to it, because you have to basically be sitting in the parking lot of the station in order to pick it up.

THIS!!!!

I believe they are located on Murfreesboro Rd. in Antioch and I live 10 miles south of that and I cannot pickup a good signal and they are an FM station.

Their main tower is actually closer to Clarksville, or at least it was when it was called The Party. I can pick up that station in West TN better than Murfreesboro or east Nashville when I visit the other parts of this state.

102.5 will be broadcasting Vandy next year. Vandy is buying airtime on WLAC to broadcast their games because 102.5 was already committed to bamer this season when Vandy's station got sold out from under them.

It will be nice that Vandy will have two stations promoting their program. 102.5 and 104.5 both love the Dores and Jimmy Franklin. 104.5 will be promoting their competition programing with the weekly lovefest of Vandy. Both Howard and Ingram (104.5) love their Dores.....

Sounds like an out of touch old man to me.
