Many in East Tennessee have been disturbed by Coach Kiffin's comments, and his lack of outward joy and emotion. I thik he and his staff are doing a great job so far, and I believe in much of what he believes in. What do you guys think about this?

I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.

I really don't know why this bothers some people? What do they expect him to do? Go skippin across the field like Richard Simmons in a locker room??

I like him both personally and professionly. I like his business as usual demeanor on the sideline. The Gatorade thing last week was hilarious. I've met him twice and he has been very nice to me every time, last time he actually offered to sign what I had with me. I obviously am not friends with him just going off my experience with meeting him.

I like the fact that he's not happy. I'm sure he cracked a smile in hte locker room after the game but as a coach he still sees alot of room for improvement. I hope he keeps it up.

If you believe in him, what does it matter what others think?

Meyer and Saban don't have much personality nor do a lot of coaches, at least in public. Have you seen the latest ESPN commercials with them. Sure don't seem to have much personality. I don't think they will be actors when they are done coaching. If I had to pick between Kiffin, Meyer and Saban to go hang out with, I think Kiffin would be more fun to hang out with.

CLK is a perfectionist and demands that his staff and players live up to their potential. Given that trait and the fact he has put disclipine back into the program is a breath of fresh air compared to the stale and contaminated air that had been circling the program the past 8 yrs.

We hired him to coach not to entertain us with his personality. He is young and intense, unlike Old and entitled like our last coach. I love his attitude and his coaching style. Maybe CPF will get another job and those of you that miss his humorous lines such as " workin like heck" will be able to go enjoy!!!

This just bugged the crap out of me, and your whole post comes across as sanctimonious.

How many are "many"? What % of East Tennessee is disturbed by CLK's comments? What comments? When did you talk to these "many"? Who are they? Do they cuss? Way to try and create a controversy by over-generalizing.

As long as he is putting a quality product on the field and the team is buying in, I'm pretty sure I could care less what "comments" he makes or that he shows a lack of outward joy or emotion.... not everyone feels the need to wear their emotions on their sleeve.

I like his attitude. All business and get it done. He ain't here to be their friend or papa. He's here to make them into winners, come hell or high water.

Let me just say this. I am friends with Mike Scott, he is a representative for the Halls manufacturer plant for Clayton Homes. He is BIG buddies with Albert Hanesworth. Matter of fact, Albert recently bought a 2 million dollar boat, and these guys hang out all the time. He is also BIG buddies with the Team bus driver. He asked him what he thought about the coaching staff. He says all are amazing EXCEPT Kiffin. Says he is a total jerk, and rude to just about everyone he comes in contact with. Just thought I would share.
