UK actually BEAT national champion LSU team, a couple of years ago. So what? I'm not going to claim we were the better team or even close.

Oh, I'm sorry I mistook you for a fan of a program that actually plays football.

See, I'm a fan of a team that has actually won a NC in football. Several of them.

Keep hanging your hat on meaningless wins and remind me again what happened when you played UT that year. That's right, you came the closest that you will ever come to actually beating UT in your lifetime. :hi:

Saban did get outcoached. I will be the only bama fan to admit it but its true. You guys had two weeks to game plan and did a very good job of it. If the coaches give crompton little swing passes and out routes UT should win out.
He did just fine carving up your superior defense. He doesn't need swings and out passes. Good luck with McElroy you're going to need it. Might want to think about going mildcat exclusively, it's the only thing that worked for you guys.

You are riight... clearly, its more important for the offense to get the calls but reason will not be had tonight!

Sorry ... I disagree. Many coaches, including Kiffin, script their first dozen or so plays therefore the offense KNOWS what's comming so headphones are practically irrelevant for the offensive staff during this period. The defense, on the other hand, must react immediately to what it sees on the field each play therefore not having head phones to quickly communicate is certainly a disadvantage. Isn't if funny that the headphone problem got cleared up as soon as Alabama went of defense.

Cheating at this school is so ingrained that they truly know of no other way to play. Last week it was pumping in crowd noise DURING the game when South Carolina was on offense and using tape to mark spots for field goals. This week headphones and who know what else may have been done. Gawd I hate cheaters !!!

I don't give a sh## about Bama. I do know that UT can't beat Auburn or UCLA and most likely can't make a bowl game. I just find it hilarious that your failure to pull off an upset causes such an uproar. Listen closely...you are 1-3 in the SEC.

Thank you Mr. Obvious. Yes, we're 1-3 in the SEC, but not for long...not for long!

However, you should have stated that we DIDN'T beat UCLA or Auburn. Which is true. However, the likely hood that we COULD beat them IF we played them now AND we played like we have in the GA and Bama games is very, very high. But maybe logical arguments aren't your thing.

As for not making a bowl game, I think you're way off base. Will you still be here if we win out? Likely not. Or if you are, what kind of piss and vinegar will you be spewing?

The obvious truth is written in the faces of rival fans. The BS and venom they expend on OUR board. And the derision they heap upon our new head coach. Tennessee was down, now we're climbing back - faster than anybody thought possible - and the rest of the SEC has taken notice. They don't like it. They know what is building in Knoxville. With 4 seconds left at #1 Bama, you could see in every crimson face....

By 2011, the Vols will be feared again by all. You guys know it. We know it!

He is a Kentucky fan...... it all makes total sense now. When beating Vandy is/would be a big deal.....life has to be hard.

And the excuse for 8 penalties to 1?

It should have been 9 to 1. There was a clear pass interference by UT defender on Julio in the end zone that was not called. Which would have made it first and goal on the two yard line.

You're right about the interference, but it was offensive if anything. Rogan was trying to catch the ball, Jones ran into him.

You mean right after Jones tried to push off? Dont forget the defender has as much right to the ball after it is in the air as the offensive player does. With that in mind, re-watch that play without any crimson glasses on.....and if you can honestly tell me that was PI, I will send you a cookie. Fedex Next day air.

You really think Alabama only committed one penalty. The no call on the offsides early in the game. I saw a hold or two in there as well. Don't let the 50/50 call on Rogan cloud the fact that Bammer was outplayed and outcoached on Saturday -- especially in the second half.

I think you guys had 60 yards of offense and 6 minutes of possession in the last two quarters. However, the only thing that matters in the end is the scoreboard. Just remember that most of Bammer Nation was in panic mode after UT recovered that onside kick. You and I both know Bammer's will be getting a lot more of that feeling in the near future.

Congrats on the win.

That would be a good argument if they hadn't starting working like 20 seconds later and we were not on offense. Clearly that would have been and advantage to UT to start the game since the defense coordinator was on the sidelines for ut.
The point was likely a swipe at Bama for tapping or trying to tap into them. Very unlikely for them to have malfunctioned without some kind monkey business...SOP for free textbook Bama. :)

Whoa, hold on. Nobody told me you could get cookies for taking a certain position around here. :eek:lol:

Had Jones not stopped cold nd made even a remote effort at the ball, he gets a call. They're not supposed to give him that call.

We'll go back to 8, since the holding call that didn't exist and cost us 3 points was a phantom penalty.

If the headsets really did just stop working 10 seconds before kickoff,then...that's REALLY bush league. I thought Bama had some class, but apparently I gave them too much credit.
