Coach Kelly Likely To Take Maryland DC position

Why are people obsessed with cutting Johnson? He's one of the best coaches and recruiters on staff. I don't get it. It's not like him and Tee are incapable of coaching a position other than WRs. I think Tee makes sense coaching RBs.

Weinke was a weak recruiter and Kelly might move on. I think those are the two most likely coaches to leave.

I'd make holding Johnson a top priority. A Chaney-run offense, with Johnson, Tee, and Nidermeyer recruiting will be awesome!

This. Replace Weinke with Tee. Keep Johnson, who did the best job on the staff last year of improving his position group.

Pruitt has some serious decisions to make so here's what he has to decide on...

David YAC Johnson...Decent recruiter but it's VERY impressive that he took a walk on kid at Menphis and turned him into a 2nd round NFL draft pick, he's a really good WR coach and the kids seem to really love the guy....I agree that Pruitt should make him a top priority to keep YAC Johnson.

Weinke...Won the heisTman trophy as the QB for Florida State, Won a National Championship for FSU has the IMG Academy ties BUT those ties to IMG hasn't paid off yet except for 1 kid....He's NOT coaching the QB's so how is he important to recruiting any QB's?

Tee Martin...Also WON a National Championship as a QB, said to be a great recruiter, was also a OC at USC...Where will he coach at UT?

This is all just what I would do and I'm a nobody with zero coaching experience...

Tee was just brought on so he isn't going anywhere this year...we hope, you never know when he might get a offer as a OC or a HC and BOOM, he's gone...I'd put Tee coaching RB's

I'd keep David YAC Johnson coaching our WR's and if Pruitt wants him to recruit better then I'd make him go through the Pruitt school of recruiting which would include him learning from Mrs Pruitt as well as our HC because if those 2 can't help him get better at recruiting, along with some of our other coaches, then he just won't become a better recruiter.

YAC Johnson is also a great backup plan for our WR's just in case Tee bolts for another job.

If Pruitt thinks he needs to use the heisTman and National Championship and IMG Academy connections for recruiting lures then move Weinke to a off field analysis position to keep him on staff and, again, if Tee bolts move him right back to RB coach if needed.

I'd really hate to see us lose YAC Johnson.
