*Josh Heupel: It’s a different team than it was at the bowl site. Got a bunch more who are with us now than were with us in Orlando. What I like about this group is that they compete extremely hard and they like to get coached.

*assistant coaches De’Rail Sims and William Inge: Really excited about the two guys that we brought in. If you look at the history of their careers, they’ve coached at a high level. The transition has been really smooth. Enjoyed having those guys so far.

*OT Lance Heard, an LSU transfer: Really young player that played snaps down there and played well. He’s been awesome in our building. He’s handled himself with maturity. As a young player, he’s just beginning his journey. I expect him to grow a bunch this spring.
