Keeps alluding to only having two quarterbacks on the roster prior to today. He said Tennessee may have been the only team in the country with only two QBs on scholarship.

I didn't catch the beginning. Anyone listen and care to share?

Basically said that they had tough requirements for someone they tried to get. They weren't going to go after a guy who didn't fit what they wanted to do.

I think we get so caught up in who we didn't get and forget that we did get some good recruits. Did it feel all our needs? of course not but we still got some good athletes.

Hmmm...is CBJ wrapping it up. Did you get the feeling that we were done for the day?

Did he say anything about all the highly ranked guys who came here on official visits who he couldn't land?

He's right about that. Did a great job flipping a number of 2-3* guys. Just about what you'd expect from Cincinnati on NSD....not a storied program in the SEC, like Tennessee. OleMiss is pulling in a Top 10 class, even after going 6-6 regular season. What a leap. Kiffin took over after a bad situation, too and pulled in a Top 10 class.

They got a few gems to stay on board, who were close to committing before Dooley got fired, but beyond that, this staff hasn't done anything to move this program forward in the ultra-competitive SEC.

Auburn had their worst season in a long, long time, fired their coach and brought in a guy who has only yr HC'ing experience.....hired a MAJOR recruiter, in Garner (thought we had the best staff in America?)...and we get dusted by them, on the recruiting front.

He's simply putting lipstick on a pig. With the exception of North, he got played by every freakin' big name we went after.

He got screwed over so much in recruiting by the big dogs, he ought to change the "u" in his name to an "i'.

A number of 2-3* guys? There's only one 2-star signee according to both Rivals and 247.

So called "Vol fans" are an embarrassment.

Dobbs, North, Jabo Lee, Jenkins, Lemond Johnson - these are not 2 star guys - these are guys with big time talent that we got very late in the process

Carr also was looking like he was going another direction after the DD firing so keeping him on board was huge - likely your starting DT in 2014 - and a very important position of need after 2013 as there isnt a lot of depth there

Although Auburn had a terrible year as well and lost a coach, they're still more relevant than us in the eyes of the recruits because who won a National Championship most recently: UT or Auburn? This is just a generalization, not talking about all the recruits.
