Coach Fulmer is OUR coach...

I ain't happy with Phil at all right now. I'm on the time for a change wagon.

However, he is part of MY TEAM. He is the coach of the University of Tennessee Volunteers. Once that ball is kicked, he has my support 100%.

He's a weak sister. He and he only is holding this program back.

Look, I love TN and I'm glad we got there, but do you really think that we were the BEST team in the SEC EAST...probably not. We threw the game away anyway...

I don't think you get anywhere by luck.

Regardless - I amy have misunderstood the post I responded to - I thought he was talking about 1998. Maybe he was talking about last year.

I am so torn when it comes to this man. Yes, he is the coach of the greatest football team in the NCAA (cheap pop :)). But I also feel that he's keeping the team in the slow lane. Everyone else in the SEC is passing us...I mean, we could easily lose to Miss St., Vandy, and Kentucky this year...What the hell?!

But regardless, GO V:rock:LS!

If titles are all you care about how about we make a push to leave the sec and go to the acc or cusa or some other mid major conference??

Another couple of years and Fulmer will have us at a level where we can't win those leagues either.

Who gives a damn about titles? Hell, who cares about winning period? I am just happy they are able to put their uniforms on properly and that our coach is able to live comfortably.

You left out South Carolina. Is that slip because you're from that particular state? :whistling:

Just noticed that there are a lot of new members on here that have just come in to sing the praises of Fulmer. As much as Freak loves the new members, can someone check to see if Phil is logging on as 10 different people to start his spin machine.

Hat, some people, who claim to be Vol Fans, can't see past rewarding a coach for success from 10 years ago. They seem to think that Vol fans, who actually care about the future of the program, are not fans at all because they want to listen to reason and do what should have been done years ago. Because they are supporting a coach instead of a program and wearing Orange colored Mike Hamilton glasses, these folks cannot see past this Saturday and understand that if a change is not made, we are doomed for years to come. They don't realize that we are not far from the point of no return. I don't even dislike these folks anymore, it's not their fault for living in the dark.To be honest, I'm starting to feel sorry for them. If we don't do something quickly, we won't need to cry and moan about it anymore because it will be too late.

I think fulmer has his wife and kids on here tonight, posting stuff to keep his job and his millions in salary.

It is weird right? New members that have a total of 25 posts or less or their first ever post have come to the 'Nation in groups and have begged support for Fulmer.
These must be the same people who call VolCalls every week.

If you honestly can sit there and say we should get off Fulmer's back you must be on some kind of exotic drug. Our team is awful and the program has been going downhill for years. It is obvious that CPF has lost control of the team. He enstills no discipline in them anymore. Also, you are in lala land if you think we are gonna have a better year than 5-7. We could barely beat Northern Illinois with their third string quarterback playing. This is the worst Tennessee team I have seen since I have been following UT since 1994.

Congratulations. You and gsvol have the honor of occupying my Ignore List.

Why? Because they stand behind the Vols? Because they don't want the Vols to lose this week? Because they don't agree with you?

If you don't think Coach Fulmer's doing a good job, that's fine. The world is full of opinions and you're welcome to yours. I just don't understand those of you who feel the need to openly bash our coach and our team. It doesn't help us but--as we learned with Nunez-- it can actually hurt us.

I love the Vols. I always will. I also happen to believe in Coach Fulmer. However, if the University decided to let him go, I'm not going to turn on UT. I'm not going to boo the new head coach. I'll stand behind him and pull for my team, my players and my University.

If that gets me on your ignore list, then I'll be proud to be there.
