I beg to differ... I believe they are both in the 4.6 range. JMHO.

We can agree to disagree. I'm good with it and dont care enough to argue. As long as we both agree that Hurd being gone is a great thing for Tn then we are solid.

Sorry, I just read that horse**** he put online and it pisses me off. To think a kid is allowed to think quitting for your selfish gains is ever a good thing to do, much less admit via an online posting. I feel this kid has been beaten by the stupid stick.

I think Byrd will get a long look at CB, might see him in a bowl game depending on how much practice time we have in December. He has lockdown potential at CB.

If Jennings plays both ways, he could be up for the Heisman next year..........

Doug hits the nail on the head a lot. He is much closer to the program than any other person on the radio, in the paper, online. By far.

He has predicted things in the past that seemed unlikely and absurd. Guess what? They happened....

I have always enjoyed hearing his comments on the program. He played in the SEC, coached in the SEC and served in several roles on the UT coaching staff for many years including Defensive Coordinator for a while.

He is respected in the coaching community and has developed a great knowledge of the game and contacts in the UT football program and other programs in the area.

All of that to say, I respect his opinion more than the opinions expressed on this board. The moves he mentioned are being discussed by UT's coaches. Vols definitely need more athleticism in the defensive backfield.

Terry McDaniel.....came to UT as a very good WR and was converted to CB....drafted as a CB and 5 time pro-bowl selection...

Byrd seems to be a bigger version of McDaniel to me....and no doubt could play the position....

Jennings would be a beast at S with his size, toughness, and speed....

Whatever they do---it is clear that we need help at DB...

Warrior and Gaulden being the exceptions.....

Yeah....let's take our best receiver and make him play a new position. That would be totally TN.

I have no idea what will happen...he is a very good WR w/NFL potential, but what if he's an All-American level DB? I would be inclined to play him where he can make the biggest impact.
