This has been said ab several commits we've had in the past go the juco route & it never seems to work out.

Brown is one who has been all VOL and never waivered in that. He recruits like a boss via twitter and trying to get others in Orange. He really seems to love CBJ and being a VOL. If he does end up going the juco route, I think he ends up back in Knoxville. Only reason he would not is if he did not develop in juco and the staff prefers other options when the time comes.

Doug's Saturday show is on 104.5 from 9-11 a.m. Central Time. It's pretty much an SEC show, featuring Tony Barnhart, Charles Davis & others. He allows times for callers, too. The Sunday show is also on 104.5 at 8-9 a.m. & is exclusively devoted to UT Vols sports; during basketball season he has a segment with Bill Justus. Both shows are very informative.

i mean do we even know if Orlando is heading to Juco, nothing he says makes it seem like it. I hope not. I really hope Gavin isnt in trouble with grades, but it seems he has made it rhrough from what i gathered. Brown hasnt seemed like he is going to miss out on making it. His tweets dont give any reason to think that, he is there this weekend for OV. Of course he wouldnt most likely want to mention it. But apparently Matthews says we have a guy that we are going to have to place in Juco.
anybody know for sure, or any ideas at all??

Doug said on the Podcast above (1st 15 minutes), we can only sign 32 or at least try to. Said it may take until fall to do so depending on who stays committed and who makes it in. Said coaches would prefer to have them all signed by NSD.

Thomas is the mostly likely to flip to MSU especially if he doesn't make it in for his visit tomorrow.

In the case of Thomas, I am more worried about Clemson than MSU.

I thought it was interesting on Doug Mathews show yesterday that he mentioned that Weatherd would be playing DE on Butch's defense. Also, Mathews said he thought it might take him longer to actually get on the field since he's enrolling in the summer versus being an EE. At any rate, I'm excited to see what happens #GBO

EE's in most cases do see the field sooner. Kind of the reason to get them in as EE's.

From reading everything out there, I feel we are "dropping" Thomas with everything that has happened, but we are getting Sawyers. That is a great trade.

I don't know who the JUCO would be.
